Any kind of laptop won't last too long. Mine lasted 2 years. Now I use a desktop.

laptops can live a long time and are much more convenient because you can't fit a desktop in an airplane carry on bag

I would have grabbed a laptop not tainted with Apple, but whatever.
I post this from a gifted (
) macbook mini and I am really missing my old rigs. This POS has a PPC processor too, so its incapable of running most programs (read: any newer than 2004), and for some reason since Thursday it wont play nice with my monitor and will only boot in Safe Mode.
