Battle between OneEye589 and ktBombshell
In the next few days, check back in this spot for a battle report from myself and ktBombshell. We will duke it out on Sunday, most likely.
The two forces will be:
The OCAJ Police Force (100CP, seen in my earlier post) allied with the Fantasy Faction (200CP).
VERSUS
The Space Squadron (300CP).
Before the actual battle takes place, let's do a little backstory...
~~~~~~~~~~~
The sky darkened with spacemen only a few days before now. Giant green and white spaceships flew through the sky leaving trails of neon green dust in their wake.
Whereever the spaceships landed, you could see the carnage: Buildings demolished, minifig body parts strewn across the studs of the landscape. Small, translucent, green pieces lay scattered everywhere.
The OCAJ's headquarters was guarded strongly, but they were no match for the spacemen. Their hovertank burst through the conrete walls, waiting for no minifig or Technicfig. It was soon ruined, the last of the OCAJ force running off like little pansies into the woodlands.
For some reason, the forest had not been touched by the spacemen. The Fantasy Faction was lucky for this. They found the OCAJ making a campfire in a small opening in the trees. After a few disagreements, they became allies, deciding to take down the spacemen for both the destruction of the OCAJHQ and for just how unnatural they were.
In a few days the two armies will clash. Who will win? No one knows, but in a few days we will watch the carnage and see once and for all which group of plastic minifigures and building blocks had better statistics and which player has better luck.
The Fantasy Faction's leader came down with The Clap and therefore the battle is postponed until tomorrow or the day after.
The battlefield has JUST been remodeled, though, and each army had their own personal photoshoots, so if the battle does not take place tomorrow there will at least be some before-hand pictures up.
The OCAJ and Fantasy Faction will be played by myself, OneEye589.
The Spacemen, or "Spacefriends", will be played by ktBombshell.
Nope, not me, psht.
Psht.
The battle's on for tomorrow. The only thng that may change with these guys is that Qui-Gon's jet-pack may be changed to green lightsaber blades instead of fire to match the rest of the army.
(Edit: I had some pictures up, but they were huge, so here's the Brickshelf link: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=334561.)
The battle has happened, and it was fun.
Have all the pictures up at my Brickshelf page.
I was victorious, but ktBombshell was pretty close. I had a lot more minifigs than she did, but her hover tank just wouldn't die. I also killed quite a bit of my own army from reckless, but fun, actions.
Tell us what you think!
I lost.
Eh, whatever. It was fun and I was hard core out numbered. It was like 12(not counting my HUGE AWESOME tank. Which was awesome.) to 23.
The Space Friends were slaughtered(Kinda)!
But it was fun, and I can't wait to play again. But I am going to need to dig out my legos, and stop using OneEye's.
Great battle. Well played and much death. The captions are the best way to record the action that I've seen so far. I vote the hovertank for the unit of win.
Looking for Vancouver Island players: http://www.brikwars.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1194
I love that tank... Lasted sooo long. I'd like to take all the credit for it but I didn't make it. OneEye did, I think I was ah...napping when he was working on most of it. He would wake me up and be like "What do you think about this?''
Lame. Thats me. I didn't have a hand in building any of that stuff. (Partly because I have no clue where my legos are) I did build part of the town thingy....
But tank and other cool stuff, that was all OneEye.
Nice battle there guys, looked epic. Thought the funniest part was the Jet Eye being eaten by a shark,
.
When cities burn and armies turn to flee in diseray
The weak ones cry "tis best to fly and fight another day!"
But true heroes know deep in their marrow when they die and fall,
"Tis better to have faught and lost, than to have never faught at all!"
