Warriors was good back in like, 6th grade. Everyone knows Redwall trumps it in Brikwarsiness though.

Re: 2013 SETS THREAD
Warriors just has more of the backstory and Clan traditions and shit, and that's what I'm looking for in books. Redwall looks epic to. Might buy one to test it.Ham701 wrote:Warriors was good back in like, 6th grade. Everyone knows Redwall trumps it in Brikwarsiness though.

It's one of those things that you either love or you hate- Tolkien is great at world-building, terrible at writing.aoffan23 wrote:

I liked Canticle for Leibowitz very much, but it got sort of strange at times- the book feels much, much longer than it actually is(600pages) ,maybe because the narrative sweeps over such a long period of time?

Re: 2013 SETS THREAD
Re-railing the topic brb.
Anyway, apparently Ninjago's replacement will be some stupid razgrizzly theme called Legends of Chima about action figures with animal heads and ripcords (the source described it as having large animals like avatar). Lego also trademarked a "Speedorz" term which I feel falls under this theme.
There will be teenage mutant ninja turtles. You would not believe the amount of flaming on Eurobricks that ensued when they thought this theme was Ninjago's replacement. Apparently there will be 6 sets and some keychains.
Finally- ¡VIVA EL ESPACIO CLÁSICO!. Apparently there are conflicting rumors about two new themes (or just one theme with two codenames) called Polar Xxpress and Galaxy Quest. A teaser for Polar Xxpress appeared on the back of the recent lego magazine with a question mark and an ice crystal, sounds like Ice Planet 2.0 to me (return of the OTC???). Galaxy Quest has been described as a throwback to the better days of Classic Space, featuring themes of exploration and discovery.

Clearly, Lego heard we'll be having Ragnablok and decided to reward us.

If they wanted to reward us they would have made this an actual line:
