Just about every faction was once an ancient army of knights and noble men. The same goes for the awesome empire, which is in the future ages viewed as the "better than most guys on the morality scale", while in the past was seen as "Huge, raging douchebags."

Here, we have the leaders of the medievil team. From left to right,
the son of king awesome,Todd. Todd is one of over 2,050,000 of king awesome's sons, and the only one he has actually raised as a son. He is actually quite smart, but he is also a loud fellow, often blowing cover. He leads most military attacks.
KING AWESOME
King awesome is the same guy who rules the awesome empire in the future. He is a genius, but with somewhat deteriorated mental health. He also is a leading anti-immortal activist.
Finally, king awesome's cousin, who is a sorcerer.
