Massive Battle: Lego versus the Clone Brick Horde

Post by Professor Ken » Sat Oct 11, 2008 9:49 pm

This is quite possibly one of the largest Brikwars battles I have ever fought, and certainly the largest that I have documented. My partner-in-crime Darth Mohawk and I, each with ten minifigs and two vehicles, completely decimated a Mega Blocks and Best-Lock army numbering over fifty members in total. Too many crazy things happened here for me to mention, so you might as well have a look for yourself:

The B-shelf folder isn't public yet.
I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

Okay, that is rather odd... do they not work weekends or something? Well, I'll get to work on this and see if I can make any headway here. If not, hey, I'll give you guys my password and you can look at it that way.

I am only on picture 2, but this looks promising (I like the captions).

Epic. Glad to see the clone brands vs. Lego comparison resolved so authoritatively.

Wonderful, the way the clones were played was realistic in the good way. The Snes was a great addition.

I originally planned to drop the sun onto the army, but this is so much better (and how much damage would a light bulb do, anyway... 5d10 explosive?).

Apparently I only have skills when Professor Ken isn't my opponent. *shrugs* Whatever. It was fun playing it, though -- the Ungh army is none too bright, so they just marched forward rank and file, the end result being similar to what happened when I sent 8 guys to charge a line held down by 8 other guys and a pair of laser cannons. But hey, I play for fun, not petty things like victory! (Which is probably half my problem right there)
They don't call me 'Darth' Mohawk just 'cause I tell 'em to!

I don't know if I'd describe that as a problem.

 That was cool. Go random falling objects from above!

Who controlled the Mega-Blocks? It looks like you just had them advance and shoot.

Control? Oh, no, they marched on their own accord, powered by their evil desires to trade quality product for shoddy skulduggery!

Alas, yes, we did just have them march forwards and fire wildly. Seriously, though, these are Mega Blocks we're talking about. Not a single brain in the whole bunch. They barely know how to attack, much less combine fire, hijack machinery or even take cover. Lego minifigs aren't bright but they can be clever. Mega Blocks rely totally upon their pre-built, POOP constructs and are, for all reasons, an order of Dimmy, a bit above "zombie" in the intelligence department. (It could be argued that Dimmies, who possess basic, if faulty, skills of construction, are slightly higher than them.)

Ah. That makes sense.

Surprisingly, that is how my brother fights most of his battles.
