19327. All of them were searchable (one of them placed me right in front of two signs saying Planet Baobab). Had it not been for a German tour bus in Russia, I would've had 20k+.

I tried a second time using Google and got >22000, but I figured that was cheating.

I like to think of it as detective work. Also, I just don't like being told how awful I am at geography.

One thing I learned from this game is that I can recognize Korean writing better than I thought.

I had 2 picks that were 6478 points which might be max points, not sure.
It was .014 km from start.

The only way you can get big score is with the google, so no big deal.
I suppose we could mention "With Google" or not.

18042, no Google. I got placed on the foot path of a zoo-type thing (the Noah's Ark Tzan mentioned earlier), a bike trail, and a boat that wouldn't let me go anywhere. Weirdest round yet.

If looking up sign names is cheating, then consider me Miles Davis.

Yeah I was better at pinpointing locations than I thought. Embarrassing mistakes include mistaking southern mexico for northern california, and i pegged a french location as french canada instead of real france.

I blame nobody for mistaking what I thought was German countryside with the Swedish countryside, as it was nothing but a road in a forest with a 70 KPH speed limit sign. The limit was printed on both sides of the sign even though it was only a one-lane road, so I guessed Germany figuring that only central Europeans could be cool with that.
