Whatever you do though, remember it's a terrible decision unless you like it.

I can be helpful at times.

Yes, it's all part of the master plan. Eventually you won't know whether to believe me or not and then you'll be in a real pickle.

Hmm, maybe. I've been wanting to use some of those grey cyborg heads from the old insectoids line.

I think I'll stick with the aquazone armor. It's might be common, but since I'm only going to have a few heavies and it matches the rest of the ranged troopers color scheme so well, I'll stick with it.

Is he a special kind of green wizard? A trichromancer? A chronjurer?

The parts for my 2nd to last hero (the last one will take a while to build) have finally arrived.

Commissar Ciaphas Cain

Corporal Ivan Jung was once just an ordinary tank gunner, albeit one assigned to one of the Protectorate's most elite units. He was critically injured during an engagement with the ASE, and was rushed to a field hospital with severe head trauma (among other injuries). During the operation, his memories and knowledge were downloaded so that doctors could repair damage to parts of his brain, then re-upload his mind after they were done. However, something went wrong.

Instead of uploading the corporal's mind, one of the technicians mistakenly downloaded a copy of the Ciaphas Cain novel series instead, which resulted in Jung waking up believing that he was, in fact, Cain himself. Cain obtained all of the skills, knowledge, and memories of his literary counterpart, and also retained some fragmentary knowledge of his former life as Jung. Jung's deep loyalty to the Protectorate is evidently one of those fragments, given that Cain has somehow failed to notice the many glaring differences between the Frangerian Protectorate and the Imperium of Man. Jung's understanding of who the protectorate's enemies are did not survive, leaving Cain prone to misidentifying and mislabeling many of the Brikverse factions (he seems quite convinced that ASE is actually the Tau Empire, for example).

Stats
Minifig type: Leader
Skill: 1d10
Move: 6
Armor: 2d6+2
HP: 2

Special Rules:
-CC Weapon Master: Uses CC and thrown weapons only. +1d6 CC bonus to skill, damage, and armor when rolling for close combat. +1d6" range for thrown objects. May dual-wield Heavy weapons as if they were Hand Weapons.
-Carapace Armor: +2 to armor, -1 to move.
-Gunner: 1d8 skill with mounted weapons.
-Hero of the Protectorate: Cain's heroic reputation (regardless of whether it is fraudulent or not) inspires those around him to follow his example, even as it drives Cain to worry about what will happen if he fails to live up to it. All Minifigs in the same squad as Cain gain a +1 to all stats and rolls.
Survival Instincts: Comissar Cain's focus on personal safety, and experience in surviving dangerous situations allows him, and any squad he joins, to avoid danger. Cain and any minifigs in his squad have a +1/3 bonus to cover whenever that are actually in cover (IE, a 1/3 bonus becomes a 2/3 bonus).
Run Like Frak! - When Сain and his squad retreat, they receive a 1d6 bonus to their sprint roll.

I'm glad 1d4chan came up with stats for Cain before I did, because it made writing his stats up way easier. Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to make Jurgen.
