I'm sorry to say, but i have to agree with J+B. who the frak cares how much time canada took to elect it's ''prime minister''.

We havent lost a war, we where not allowed to win. And we will always hold kick-ass stasis.

I vote for McCain, just because Adolf Obama is going to take my guns.

We are screwed ether way, Its a broken system.

No on 2, Yes on 8. I voted for McCain first. Get over yourselves. Just cuz I voted for the veteran with more experience doesn't mean I'm an a-hole.

Right, but you're also voting for the uh... vice president with absolutely no oil, foreign, or economic policy who is only one, very old heartbeat away from taking the reigns of the current global superpower.

Oh, that and the whole "hey let's bail-out the economy" thing completely turned me off from the politicians.

Why NO on 2? Could you imagine, living your entire life in a space with not even enough room to turn around, then being killed. God, yet another reason not to eat meat. Humans are so mussed up like that.

Yes on two would double the cage sizes. This means that farmers/slaughterhouses/meat factories can't fit as many animals into their spaces. To make the same (or in fact any) profits, prices of meat would go way up. People stop buying meat because it's so expensive, and the whole meat industry goes down.

I like meat.

Apart from all this discussion, Obama is winning here. I guess he'll win just as well as in the real elections.

(Of course, McCain won't get only 24& of the votes...)

Have you ever seen chickens or cows or pigs in real life?
I lived on a ranch for a while, and let me tell you, farm animals are mean, disgusting, unsanitary, lazy and otherwise almost totally useless as anything BUT food. chickens would eat their own poop even if they had the entire state of Texas to run around in. I've seen it.
I'm gonna vote no on 2.

Bah, maybe you're right. Maybe it's just because I don't like the taste of (any) meat. But I still will vote yes on it. It will make meat prices go up, and, hopefully, people will eat less of it.

A few points:

1. Quit slamming Palin, she's not running for president.

2. If you're gonna avoid logical argument and say that McCain is likely to die of a heart attack, America is one assasination away from having an old guy as president.

2. IV, it would be very green if we cut down on the mass scale animal manufacturing. How can you vote Obama and not be green?

3. To the Canadian masses, we know you want Obama, please be quiet and let America do its thing (kidding, kidding...)

on a side note a recent poll of some people at my school showed that 50% of people thought obama was either a disquised muslim extremist or the antichrist. kinda irrelevant but interesting nontheless.

Sometimes I despair, I really do.

How is number of wars won/number of countries yours is currently fighting in a sign of your country's 'greatness'. I'm also completey puzzled by the concept of 'not being allowed to win' a war, especially when no one seems to have any idea what the criteria for a victory is anymore.

I also fail to see how making d a p p e r marriage illigal stops people being homeschooled.

Anyhow, being a Limey bastard I can't vote in your election, if I could it would definitely be for Obama; the man actually has the chance to do some really great things, although in 12 months time I will be probably somewhat dissapointed. Heck by lunchtime tomorrow I could be rather dissapointed.
