I typically don't, but in these cases (Wii, PS3, iPod) I had no choice, so I went with the most appropriate name.

Yeah, he was an awesome hamster. He died the day Obama got elected (lol). But, life goes on, and there are bagels to be eaten!
I can't wait to be an old geezer, so I can say this:
"Back in my day hamsters died the same day as presidents were elected! Now stop your sniveling!"

My laptop computer, running windows vista, is named Infinity.
Surprisingly, i have had next to no problems with vista, besides the fact that it isn't a mac.

I'm shocked that nobody is calling their tiny hardware.
