Aha! turned out my PS3 controller's L2 and R2 buttons are broken. Controller re-mapped.

went to the options and set "carry items" to R2, and "awesome mode" to R3. If I ever actually need to lift things, I'll switch temporarily.

I know what you mean. My brother went through many PS2 controllers, thanks to them damn sports games.

EDIT:

Tomorrow I'm going to the store to buy this game, and I'm really excited because I'm going to get the Collecters Edition. That means I get my very own bobblehead and lunch box!

IMO, the extra 25 dollars is worth it for a lunchbox, bobblehead, book and dvd. This will also be the first collectors edition of a game I've ever bought.

Yeah probably. I've been poor for so long, I forget that I have money to burn now.

So I was fighting two raiders, hit VATS.
One raider had just thrown a grenade at me that I didnt even notice, it was more than halfway.
VATS highlighted the grenade, 94%, I shot it out of the air with my 10mm pistol, kaboom, no damage to me :)

That's awesome. I've heard of being able to shoot grenades, but I've never actually done it my self.

Also, I now officially own the Collectors Edition :D

Strangest thing, my controller fixed itself.

Yeah, I shoot grenades on a regular basis. It's really, really satisfying.

Also, did anyone else take the ladykiller perk? 10% extra damage to girls, and sometimes you get extra dialogue options when talking to girls.

Grenades are my favourite support weapons. Not only are they powerful, but blowing limbs to hell is so awesome.

I didn't take the Lady Killer. I read that it isn't that useful because there's not nearly as many females as there are males.
I did, however, get the Bloody Mess perk. Exploding bodies + 5% damage increase = win.

Not yet, I have thought about it. Basically just GunNut so far.
I think I'm level 4 now. Small Guns is over 80. I'll post stats later.
