I have an account, but no steam credit, also I need to work out some bugs I have been having with it,(aka I can't log in because the capatcha or whatever is to hard) i can't download because 3 years ago the FBI put these stupid parental controls on my computer, and to boot the FBI is also extremely paranoid about me downloading stuff on the computer, because I went on a downloading spree a few years back, trying to get dawn of war, (that warhammer 40k rts) because my parents wouldent let me buy it, and the computer got a virus.but i do want to start using steam.

Dude, tip for you. i got Steam by installing a copy of Skyrim that the FBI bought at Wallmart. It'll work for Civ, too.

Also, if you have those kind of parents, I feel for you. But I guess that's what living in New England will get you Damn yankees

So, If I install a game, it will glitch and let me get steam? Also what is also really annoying is the system won't even let me get LDD, I've asked the FBI to remove the controls, and she realizes they are no longer nessessairy, but she doesn't have time to go in and remove them, also she's not very good with computers, she had to go to one of those parent websites where they tell you how to do that shit

I destroyed all 8 opponents by using war

-Some English troops land on my continent. Lots of troops. They probably outnumber me 5 to 1. I figure that they're travelling to fight the Iroquois, which they've fought like 10 times already.

-Elizabeth declares war. That bitch.
-My troops prove that they are incredibly manly and slaughter the English with minimal casualties.
-English have large navy preventing me from assisting my city state, which is on an island surrounded by English ships.
-Said city state kills 10 ships in 20 turns. Complete badasses.
-I build a navy and wipe out the English navy, take a city, and settle for peace.
-Elizabeth is friendly towards me.

Civ in a nutshell. And the AI is shit at warfare in Civ.

-Be playing as Egypt with Mgb519, Samuelzz10, and BFenix
-World size is Tiny to avoid lag. Dammit.
-Start in a pretty good area. Silk and sugar. Awesome.
-See Sam's Roman Settler.
-He's looking for somewhere to settle. Preferably not crawling in barbarians.
-He settles just south of me. I wasn't really gonna settle there anyway. Really.
-Instantly begin pulling wonders out of my ass, then repent and ask if people are building wonders.
-About 150 years pass. Sam was absent for the day.
-Mgb tries for Angkor Wat. Someone else finishes it first.
-Mgb enters enraged state. We blame Rome.
-Egypt invades Rome, takes the city of Iron Maiden.

Awesome. Desperate last stands would be even more interesting with a smarter AI.

Anyway, I vote for a thread just Civ Stories. Also, I'll be doing community service hours marching at a old Texas fort (Fort Concho, should ye care) for visiting daycare. I reckon I'll be unavailable on the 9th and 10th, from about 9:00 AM to 3-4 PM or something.

I mean generally,throughout the series,Civ AI has been regarded as fairly schizophrenic.the BNW overhaul just confirms that.

I just couldn't win the diplomacy last GnK game I had. The AI just kept going from friendly, to denouncing every few turns, I couldn't build up meaningful relationships with anyone except Poland, and even he decided to throw away millennia's worth of diplomacy over a single congress vote.

Civ 5 has to be one of the most politically accurate games ever created.
