My so-far nameless ship. Note that I'm not quite finished yet.

I'm mainly done this ship, and I quickly took these pictures to share with you lovely folks. I shall have the final version (with better quality pictures, hopefully) within the next few days.

That's pretty sweet! The thruster and part of the cockpit look unfinished, but it looks like it will turn out really nicely.

Awesome.

Hah. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can actually tell the difference between new-school style lego construction and old-school ones (and not just because of the windshield you used).

The wings and cockpits are dead give aways.

Yes, I love the look of old classic Space ships, and I like to build my space models in that style. I also don't have very many of the whacky new parts that sets have nowadays, so I couldn't really achieve a new-school style if I really wanted to.

Same here. Good ol' classic space will never die!

although, you can still use older pieces exclusively to make a new-school style ship. I've seen it done before (check Dr. X's stuff without newer pieces), and it still looks distinctively new-age.

Yeah.. new-age stuff usually is very SNOTty, with all sorts of weird angles and complicated construction techniques and color accents.
I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

Pretty much all the whacky techniques that I'm not capable of achieving. I'll stick with classic!

Lol. I still like classic set-style, though.. there's something about that's just so... classic.

Classic=sometimes too gray.

Star Wars is older than Classic Space LEGO®, but the ships don't have a...classical design.

Star Wars is older than everything! It was a long time ago, you know. In some galaxy that's far, FAR away.

Ha ha ha ha!

Lego dosn't really design the SW ships, they have to base it off the actual movies.

Star Wars design pwns Classic Space. And in functionality too.
