Those look even better than I imagined. Just out of curiosity, are those knives in the last pic a type of oversized bayonet for future designs? I noticed the pegs on them.

Will did make them and those pegs do fit the MODCOM system, but beyond that, I have no idea what Will's plans for them or the concept are. I do definitely agree that bayonet-style items would definitely be fun to have!Ben-Jammin wrote:Those look even better than I imagined. Every picture is making me like these more. The big modular weapons (minigun, that big sci-fi machine gun) were a great step, but this is super unique. I would love to see some cool sci-fi weapons in the style, but I'll settle for mixing regular weapons.
Are the pins designed to be Lego compatible at all? They look like they might be the same size as the plume pins (i.e. the pins and holes for helmet attachments), but it's hard to tell for sure.

No idea. I agree they look close to that size, but I'm not sure. Having the peg be that standard size would definitely be neat; some of the scopes would make nice bits to add to the side of the clone trooper and Mandalorian helmets.aoffan23 wrote:Are the pins designed to be Lego compatible at all? This is a great concept.
I do feel, however, that you should shortened the space between the AK's mag and body.

Will you guys make bodies that don't have holes for scope attachments on the top? Like if I want an M4 that doesn't have a scope I think it would look funny with the holes in the top.

Me? I didn't have anything to do with these; all the awesomeness is 100% Will. I'm just a fan, same as you guys.BFenix wrote:I do feel, however, that you should shortened the space between the AK's mag and body.
From what I understand from what folks posted at Brickfair VA who tested these parts out, that space is just a function of the peg on the magazines (and a few of the other parts) just being a tiny bit longer than the port in the receiver. For the prototypes, all it takes to get them to sit flush is a quick mod of the peg, and IF (again, massive 'if' as there) Will were to take the concept into production, no doubt all the parts would fit like gloves.
Again, just to be clear: I don't work or speak for Will/BrickArms; I'm just a fan with a bit of information that I'm happy to share when I can!Natalya wrote:Will you guys make bodies that don't have holes for scope attachments on the top? I guess Will could do receivers without the ports on top, but then that seems to defeat the purpose of this concept a bit. If you really wanted a plain Jane top with these, you could always just trim off the peg from one of the items then use it as a plug for a smooth surface.

Sorry it took me this long to get an answer to you, but talking to someone who has these parts in-hand, apparent the peg is larger than a peg pin. Sort of a pity there isn't that compatibility with plume pin-sized ports, but then pins that small on parts made of solid ABS would undoubtedly break pretty easily.aoffan23 wrote:Are the pins designed to be Lego compatible at all?
