I just finshed brisngir. I am in Eragon Mode right now, also,the movie did ntohing for the book. Durza did not have a dragon.....(WTF IS THAT S**T!?)

It's not alive and dead at the same time. Schrodinger's cult philosophy said that if he put a cult into a room and shut the door, the cult technically was everything at once because there was nothing to see what was going on. If there was no way to observe the cult then ANYTHING could be happening to it and you can't tell. It could be dead, it could be alive, it could be walking on the ceiling, it could just not be in the room at all.
