Like Silva said, this is turning into a pretty weak Geass clone. The plot is so full of holes it's ridiculous.
Inaho's eye is interesting though. I like the idea that it might alter his mind, but... if it can detect lies and plot complex bullet trajectories, why doesn't the Terran military have computers like it installed on every Kataphrakt and military facility? You'd think someone else would be analyzing this stuff.

And that really is one of my biggest complaints with the series as a whole. You'd think someone else would be intelligent enough to defeat a Martian Kataphrakt or analyze the fake Asseylum's speeches or even just shoot down one of those Martian mook space fighters, but the show makes it look like Inaho and the rest of the Deucalion's crew are responsible for literally every victory and every step forward in the entire war. I used to think that this show was a decent deconstruction of what would really happen if you put teenage kids in the middle of a war and forced them to make the decisions mecha protagonists usually have to. Now I just think it was written by teenagers and all of this crap is supposed to be taken seriously.

Also, oh my god those character animations were hilarious. Just... what were they thinking when they drew those faces?

At least we'll finally get to see a battle between Martian super robots next episode. That should be awesome.

Well, last episode it was explained that half of the Landing Castles in Asia had surrendered or something, so it couldn't have been just them. It was also the Chinese.

I actually like Slaine, he's carrying this really weak show pretty well.

Also, I think the best way to describe this show is "What if Code Geass was Sword Art Online?"
