Yeah, it's a commentary on how talking and communication is actually more effective than fighting. What's important is the character development, and the action, while entertaining takes a backseat to this. I've always been about this, as you can tell from all my past soap operas and stories. Most QS fights devolve into seesaw battles too, so it also develops the setting. It amazes me how good I can write when I don't try. I think I'll write up a FAQ for beginning writers like mgb.
