I didn't want to mess with the torso and shoulders too much because I'm implementing mouse aiming and the arms and head rotate.

I realized I could take my old drawing and work with it to do something else.

Try seeing if you can make the up and down bouncing of running a bit smoother. Currently it seems jerky to me.

Hips should move with the thighs. Shoulders should rotate a bit as well. The whole body changes position while running.

I was actually planning to put the shoulders on the arms all along. Those were just vestigial structures from my previous sprite.

It looks a lot better now, but I think you could still work on the bending of the legs. They look like they're maintaining the same angle throughout the entire run cycle.

Is that better? Not really different, but I changed the shade of the legs slightly so they contrast more. There was a bit of a bend already, but it's possible the colors were too similar to really tell. Or it's possible I still need to change something.
