Thank you, this sort of thing makes me disproportionately satisfied, and well done on the subscribers.

Zupponn makes a very good point, as "the builder" it's quite hard for me to really evaluate how good one build is compared to another. You get a certain "Look wot I built in't it epic!!" feeling that dies down after you get bored of swooshing your MOC, but never really goes away from your view of a build. It's useful for people to criticise, so that I can make something prettier next time. Saying "Look wot U built in't it epic!!" is not something I'd discourage, but if you have any criticism that's just as important. If something notsoepic is labelled as totallyepic then next time it's going to be harder to build something legitimatelyepic.

tl;dr:Being nice is nice, but criticism is also nice, and quite useful (HonoreBallzack excluded).

The only problem was that I was only talking about the barrel. Maybe I was looking at it incorrectly though. Instead of making the barrel smaller to fit the gun, ikensall should make the gun bigger to fit the barrel?

And then make the barrel larger.

I did look at it the other day and think "Hmn yes, it is unfortunately large."

But then I noticed the machine gun build on the desk and decided everything was perfectly proportional.

The machine barrel is not getting smaller, I want it to look like it fires babies heads and if mere mortals try to shoot with it they'll get launched into orbit by the recoil. But then I have the dilema of how to make the gun bigger, cause those two poor bastards have to carry it around somehow, along with an ammo box for added blow-up potential.

Oh, and I demand to be called "Your Highness" from here on in.

I'm glad that people are still finding this thread (through the link in my sig?), I'm about half way through with another build at the moment. A fighter plane inspired by a few WWII planes and the teak decking of 1920s motor boats.

Have you though about building a battleship sorta thing? 'Cause that would be awesome, especially with your skills... m90.

Well, M90, I do think about how I would build larger projects such as battleships, floating-air-battleships and super tanks etc. However I normally don't get past two bricks before reaching the "wtf am I supposed to do with this" phase. Maybe one day.
