Out of curiosity, what are all those legs for? Or are you going to attach the white 1x2's to them and make walking toaster men?

So, I hit the states today, and found a nice pile of loot waiting for me! :D

More to come soon, in all likelihood, but for now:

Image

A white panel and a wheel, from Lego's customer service. Nothing grand, I know, but I've a three-wheeled camper that's been dragging itself around for four months now. It shall finally roll, and have a normal wall instead of a temporary dolphin-decoed one..

Image

This little guy. He was a freebie with a Lego.com order a few months ago, but I kinda like him. I'd get a few more, if only to terrorize minifigs as giant Twilight-Sword-Esque skull spiders.

Image

An absolutely beautiful Aquazone baseplate. You really can't appreciate how vibrant and awesome these are until you see them in person.

Image

Various ninjas, nindroids, and a cool car with some unsightly cannons stuck to the top. I do love some of the recent torsos and heads, though.. I'm sure I'll find a creative use for them.

Image

And last but not least, the beautiful Mechdragon himself. He's sadly lacking in articulation, as you can only really move his feet, elbows, neck and head, but that's all you need with something as gloriously ready to wreak damage as he is. I also love the built-in prison chamber, and all the wing blades with the potential for MW's to carry..

Anyways. That's all for now. I'm sure a lot of this will end up in battle reports in the near future. Until then. :)

Firestar toys, while usually expensive, is having a sale. I picked up 14 of their Trnasparent red swords, and 5 Health potions.

Ladyfriend picked this up for me at our local Goodwill's for just twenty bucks, which is pretty cool because this set goes for 70 USD retail me thinks. Definitely gonna go there more often to look for any other nice deals on Lego.

Well, I ordered a few packages a few weeks back, and apparently they all decided to arrive stateside the same time I did. Round two, it would seem.

First and most importantly, a Dungan. For things like this.

Image

This Life On Mars T3 Trike, which was a big part of my childhood.

Image

Ogel's Mutant Killer Whale, from that same time period. It's a strange thing, but also kinda awesome. Gotta love the old 2000-era dinosaur pieces.

Image

And, for curiosity's sake, what the whale looks like un-mutantized. He's got this weird happy smile that makes me want to name him Waldo or Ernard.

Image

This insanely happy fellow and his underwater lawnmower.

Image

And lastly this beautiful big Alpha Team Command Sub, complete with two Power Loaders. (That's what I'm calling them, because that's what they are.)

Image

Also, two transparent green sawblades connected to an array of chainsaws is awesomely Brikwars.

It's awesome to you getting sets from your childhood, so many happy memories. Are you going to keep them together or use the parts for other projects?

Took advantage of Brikforge's 50% off sale! Trying their latest gimmic with the 'Rigged' gear. I think it's a neat idea but we'll see. Coolest part looks like the round clip with a female stud + the 'rigged' pin; seems very flexible.... kinda like the 'u-clip' from Brickarms in that it's innovative and it's uses are only limited by your imagination. Here's a link to one that's 80% off right now; buy a grip and test them out! https://www.brickforge.com/store/produc ... t=0&page=1

Yes. Hehe. As it is, I've got my assembled sets, and then a bag of spare parts from which comes haphazard creations like the Rubberduck. If I have more serious building to do, such as Blue Heliad Walkers or things like that, I'll dissemble the sets I need, build new creations, but then later put everything back the way it should be. (Usually I keep notes on how to reassemble personal projects though, should I need them again. The MW-1 Daedalus, for instance, is currently spread between Kai's Fire Mech, the little Life Guard motorboat, and the Lego City Camper, but I could put it back together in an evening.)
