Welp. The game has gone "final". I played RwR some years ago and completely forgot about it until it recently reappeared on the Steam frontpage.
TBH I think its current price is a bit too much, but I wouldn't hesitate getting this fun little top-down shooter when a discount or the sales pop up.
It's funny how a small team of developers managed to create a wargame that seems to flow and play out more realistically than most modern AAA military shooters, even if looking kinda cartoon-ish. Gameplay is perfectly balanced and the game never feels unfair, having fire fights and larger engagements evolve naturally while delivering an unspoken sentiment of accomplishment for taking over that particularly difficult position from the opfor. This is even more relevant when playing with human comrades in coop campaigns.
Hoping some brikwarriors get their hands on it, looking for more folks to play with.
