United Klingdom: The FV4300 series of AFVs

Post by Valiant » Wed Jun 03, 2015 10:04 pm

ABS Defence Systems brings you the next wave of armoured fighting vehicles for the UK! Today we will be showcasing three variants from the new FV4300 chassis.
Without any further ado, let us begin.

FV4310 - Medium Battle Tank
Image
The first design tested on the FV4300 chassis, the FV4310 was built to be the fill-in between the FV7031 "Champion" and the short lived FV7028 "Foxhound". With a 105mm gun and room for infantry, the FV4310 not only can provide gunnery support on the battlefield, but can also ferry infantry in and out of hotspots with ease.

FV4320 "Bulldog" - Armoured Personnel Carrier
Image
The FV4320 "Bulldog" is the United Klingdom's primary vehicle when it comes to transporting soldiers around the battlefield. With space for eight occupants(nine including the driver) and incredibly resistant armour, this vehicle is more than capable of moving infantry and supplies around without having to worry about enemy fire.

FV4330 "Paladin" - 155mm self propelled gun
Image
Finally, the vehicle you have all been waiting for. This is the FV4330 "Paladin", the mobile platform of death. Armed with a 155mm gun and a 50. cal, this vehicle can annihilate its enemies both far off and close to home.

And there you have it, the first vehicles of the FV4300 series. With mass production slated to begin in July, ABS Defence Systems is now accepting contracts for the design of new armoured vehicles for various factions. Before we sign off, we'll send you off with a couple more photos.
Cheers,

~Ian Kling

You are godly at building tanks! Any tips for a novice who would hope to get to even half you level?

Well, for starters I'd recommend looking at various lego tanks on the internet and see how the people put them together, whether with SNOT techniques or with pure ingenuity. You may also want to take a look at my rough breakdown for the GA90E Gladiator: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=13731
I would also suggest investing in a couple of the 42032 Compact Tracked Loader sets, as they come with about 62 track links each and a nice amount of other technic pieces.

The main chassis is superb, but the angles you used for the Paladin's shots really makes it look huge and imposing.

Fine job, Valiant. Glad to see more quality war machines rolling out The Armoury!

Here's a teaser for the next evolution of the FV7031 Champion. May I present to you, the M1 Jackson.
