Yup, he is hiding in his white box up there, the other three were just an elaborate ruse.
Splash Screen
Its just black for 3 seconds then the text appears, 6 seconds later, you go to the main menu.

I was thinking a small subtext could be
"The long awaited debacle."

Re: Bushes
Is there are reason all the screenshots are in 4:3?
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

My monitor is 4:3
For some reason the world has gone crazy with wide screen.
Mine is 1600 x 1200 UXGA
I prefer the extra height, extra width doesn't really help.
I can see more programming lines on a screen, or a web page.
I also got this 7 years ago so there were not any wide screens with 1200 or more.

Re: Bushes
Glad I'm not the only one who never saw the point in 1080 HD or widescreen - I have two Acer monitors at 1200x1024 and they have been more than good enough for me for a long, long time. I think I've owned them for almost as long as you have.Tzan wrote:My monitor is 4:3

Re: Bushes
The world wants wide, high refresh, hi rez monitors because they are superior for gaming and viewing high resolution video.
I too currently run an ancient(read: about 8 years old) monitor which is roughly square shaped, but I'll eventually replace it with a fine Korean counterfeit A* 4K, or three.

Re: Bushes
I have two monitors - the main one is 1920x1080 and the other one is 1280x1024. Widescreen is great for watching widescreen video, and it more accurately reflects the human field of view. It also lets me see the favicons for the 30 Chrome tabs I keep open at all times. There's been a huge shift to 16:9 monitors recently -- I don't think I've seen a 4:3 monitor in a while, other than the one I keep on my desk, so it just seemed like an unusual choice.

All the coders I worked with had two widescreens, one turned sideways for coding and one turned normal-people-ways for media.Tzan wrote:I prefer the extra height, extra width doesn't really help.

For awhile I had my main desktop setup with four monitors, but it was just silly.
One of my nutso brothers has dozens of monitors hooked up to his underground bunker box, I wish I'd taken a photo. Half of them are green or amber CRTs from the 80s, I don't know how they're still alive. He uses them to monitor net traffic. I don't know who he's spying on exactly.

Yeah 4 is <a href='http://tinyurl.com/y42zurt'>alot</a>.
I know about the rotating, I have thought about trying it, the NEC does it but the Dell doesn't.
I only make money with Autocad and thats best horizontal I think.
Unity editor is best horizontal too I think, spread across two screens with 3 windows.
When programming in Visual Studio, you just save files, then click on the Unity window and Unity compiles code and displays error messages in a Unity Console window.
So you really need both open.
So even if I wanted to try vert programming I would need the Unity main window set vert too, because its the same screen.

I tried to find the gif of hacking with a braille display but I couldn't find it.

Winter is Coming

I was working on a way to make a sort of light that adjusts the vertex color on my models.
Its not stressful on the frame rate as a real light.
But when you make it super bright, you get a cool frost effect.
It doesn't change the landscape items yet because I haven't converted them to vertex colors yet.

Not bushes:
Profile creation panel, appears just after the splash screen.
The little black square blinks.
