So I feel like a complete toolbag

Everyone knows that cloan armies are boring. The EFR army I'd roughly 30% cloans since I went mad and started buying all those stormtroopers


I like the stormtroopers and orange utapau troopers the way they are. But I can't help but feel a little peer pressure to make them .. not clones. At least to give them crash helmets and yellow heads

I've made two or three bulk orders of helmets and heads before and it's frankly annoying. But as I was setting things up today I was digging into the Lego civilian minifig box and realized that I had ordered a fuck ton of police and firefighter parts years ago.. and there are 20 white crash helmets just sitting there.

I have 40 to 50 storm troopers. And about another 16 orange guys... I don't have enough helmets for all of them. But I find myself faced with a dilemma on whether or not to order another 50 billion heads and helmets.

So I realized I had taken pictures of the remaining minor factions a week ago and forgot to upload them to my drive. that's done now and the stuff on the original page has been updated.


Also regarding the last post I made,

Stormtroopers and the Orange Clonetroopers, I -could- order another massive batch of white helmets, I'd need like 50 or 60 to cover them all, My police units only cover about 20 of them.

this is what they would look like with new helmets, perhaps different visor colors,


I'm not sure if it's worth it or not, like I said, pretty much just giving into peer pressure for the sake of having non-cloans.

I'd need to buy yellow heads for them too I think, I've long since exhausted my supply. most just have plain colored heads with no faces.


Edit - I've ultimately decided against it, it costs about $100 to have all the parts needed, and have them shipped here. I included a few other bricks and pieces, but there's notihng on pick a brick that's really worth it.

I really need to start using bricklink or something. or maybe some custom moulds

Added a new APC, Converted one of those ice crawlers into a half track.

Might tear it apart and turn it into a small tank though.

I dunno about you, but how about before tearing it down trying to maybe replace the massive front windscreen with a narrow slit or something? Cos the design's somewhat promising.

I improved the Hamvee offroad a little bit, It was never meant to be anything flashy as it was literally a sh*tbucket that I made years ago, and somehow miraculously never got salvaged. but anyway, I tore it apart and rebuilt the chassis around one of these peices. It can actually comfortably fit minifigs now, as well as some extra peices to look like added armor.

The Hamvee was as I said, something that just didnt get scrapped, so it stuck around as an "obsolete" vehicle that the militia units use, it's basically a ramshackle urban combat vehicle or offroad transport/scout.

rebuilt the whole body around one of these parts, can't see it, but it made it possible to fit stuff in the vehicle now.

Same vehicle with some of the armor slabs and the roof taken off. Basically an old jeep now.




Not much of an update, but I'm still making the odd improvement and addition when I have the time and money for it, Also picked up a SW Flash speeder, it's sitting together right now but im sure I'll find a way to salvage it into a proper tank or APC for the greeners soon enough.

Slowly but surely I'm converting many of the vehicles to have working interiors, unfortunately I don't think I'll ever get minifigs to properly fit in any of the tanks, spare the huge EFR one, which already has a cockpit for 2.

I'm going to try to revamp this vehicle into a proper MRAP soon, as it was supposed to be the successor to the "Hamvee", but it's a bit smaller and it can't fit minifigs in it properly aside from laying them at a 45 degree angle.

Does it actually fit figs and get the job done now? Yes.
Is it as cool as a USA or Emerian MRAP? Probably not.

At least I fixed it. It may be possible to make multiples, which I should really try to do. with the exception of some tanks, most of the vehicles I only have one of each.

Team sized MRAP. The heavy armored counterpart to the Ranger trucks. These are basically all cars, and armored cars. Not actual APCs. implying APCs would have dedicated crews

Removed the stockist taint of the Naboo Flash speeder and reassembled it into a ramshackle BTR-Esque APC for the Triangular State.

The TPC-56 is an APC utilized by the Triangular State faction of separatists. The TPC exhibits all the poor production quality of TS Manufacturing, and is known to literally fall apart if it takes too much damage, although it remains the first heavily armored vehicle to be designed and manufactured *and not stolen or copied* in the Triangular State, and thus Triangular military leaders still remain proud of it.

It really is quite easy to do that... I was goign to try and dicover who it was but the edit log is too full of Colette editing Duerer's "Petition to make country X an official country" thread to the mami best girl thread...

I too like the green, really looks nice in a sort of cartoonish way and your hull-wheel transition is good.
