The Kommondor jeeps.
These are another set of vehicles belonging to the PRA.
The Kommondors.
(Rear view)
The Kommondor is a light jeep used by the PRA to "round up" enemy units. Named after the dog most commonly owned by sheep herders, the Kommondors use the mounted machine guns to group enemy units together.

In the picture above you can see the shield used to cover the gunner from the front without obstructing sight. The reason that the Kommondors do not carry troops can be see in this picture; there is no room save the passenger seat. From time to time one trooper may hitch a ride on a Kommondor when they are not in battle, but the PRA troops usually travel in groups, not by themselves.
This is what I did all day. I bought the Indiana Jones jeep set and I knew I had to make a couple of jeeps to utilize the parts. They are completely identical to eachother, down to the color of every single part. I love organization so I was very proud of this. I have plenty of Legos, just not a lot of the same pieces so it was quite hard to find doubles of everything I needed.

Thanks guys. It took me a while to get it just right. I had tried over and over again and just couldn't get the look I wanted.
I have to give some credit to whoever built this. I was having a lot of trouble just starting, so I Googled "Lego jeep", this came up, and it really helped me with the front end.

Oh, just various sets like the Adventurers sets and things like that. I probably have more of those wheels and tires than anything else.
I know many of them are from the Adventurers, but I know that I've gotten more from other places because I have dozens of them. I'll think on it and get back to you what other sets they are from.

I loved it. There were some parts that I wish were different colors, but TLC does that. The little, blue Technic half-pins, the 2X1 plates were ALL tan, and a few other things. It happens with the sets, though.NatalyaAF wrote:Lol. Reminds me of my Czech-politician death cars with their turrets mounted on the back, except way cooler looking. I think I'm gonna by that IJ Jeep set myself. It looks pretty good for a TLC set.
It was fun to build and it gave me some good parts. I now have ten of those really big tires (which I did not use on these jeeps), and those are awesome.
