KillingFloor 2

Post by dilanski » Fri Oct 30, 2015 8:49 am

So, I'm after some brikwarriors to join my on my quest to liberally apply bullets to the faces of zombies. As killing floor 2 is on sale in the Steam Halloween Sale, now seems like the perfect time to bring it up.

Highlights of the game are the amazing persistent gore system, which rivals what any brikwarrior with a bottomless tub of red studs can do. I've seen entire rooms painted red come later rounds. Also there is the trippy 'zed-time', a somewhat randomly triggering slow motion, that is perfect for getting pinpoint precise headshots, and seeing the giblets fly everywhere.

Downsides are that the game is in early access, and has a somewhat slow update cycle. The devs post a weekly progress report, but this stuff can take forever to make it into the game.

So, any takers?

Imagine if all the hitboxes and hit detection and whatever else was suddenly really good as opposed to...you know.
Also you can block melee attacks.

The hit detection makes more of a difference than you'd think.
