Skirmish for the OT Spider

So, I built this large map and invited some of my Brikwars Kommunity to bring their armies and play, I also invited a friend of mine who had a decent camera Unfortunately, she had no idea of how to take pictures of lego, so I ended up with a whole lot of shots of civilians doing nothing and missing pics of many big parts in the battle, so sorry for the photography and missing bits.

The second war for Kandors is fully underway, PLE (Planetary Lividicus empire) won the first war off TGIA and ZONE. Now both parties have retaliated, with TGIA now creating a blockade around Kandors.

On top of that, ZONE as split into two factions one ZE (Zone Empire) supporting the new emperor, and Zone supporting the military generals.

Anyway, enough of Kannon, TGIA had picked up large OT radioactivity in the middle of a small town, a ZE force have been tracking the TGIA special forces unit to the town and arranged an ambush. PLE who occupy the village have called for reinforcements and prepared for attack, ZONE sent in an armour detachment just to find out what the hell was going on.

Some random pictures of civilians and buildings, in the first one, a panther in stalking some miners.

We seem to have a lot of armless/handless civilians.

Some drunk doing a dance.


And a suspicious military base of seemingly Buckitiod origin.



And now, onto the battle!

Turn 1 PLE

"Unfortunately, no pics were taken of PLE's first turn, all they did was start in a demolitions factory, took up positions, and set the mechanik on disabling some live bombs.


Turn 1 TGIA.
TGIA forces come onto the map via an airport


The "Emu' assault truck drives straight through the airport central.


"VVRROOOM!" The Hardsuit trudges through the especially busy airport central.


(Not shown, the "Emu" truck blasts some droids.)

Then it takes a suppression fire down the street, drooping off the Flash assault force, which move into the building. (Note the dead droids up the back)


ZE Turn 1



The ZE tank shoots a hole in the wall of the red building, exposing the Flash force and startling civvies.


The Tank moves into the street, triggering the Emu's suppression fire, but it fails to do much with those missiles.


The TGIA Teslar trooper fires on the tank with a response move.


He misses, frying a passer-by.


Some of the other Flash force fire on and kill these lot as response move.


The ZE grenadier jumps onto the tank and fires at the Flash Officer.


Killing him, his body falls into caustic soup.



Zone Turn 1

Zone literally does nothing on his first turn, so no pics were taken.

PLE Turn 2

The PLE Rocket trooper fires on the ZE tank.


He scores a direct hit, completely destroying the tank.


The rest of the PLE infantry move up.


This squad fires on the ZE soldiers.


Killing all but one, who fires back. (ZE turn 2)


One PLE volunteer goes down.


TGIA turn 2

The last ZE soldier dies from a shot in the gut. ZE ELIMINATED.


Commander Flash locates the source of the OT radiation. In that military base behind him!


A civillian rises to join the TGIA cause!


Meanwhile the PLE officer brainwashes an innocent factory worker.


Plastik surgery these days is pretty woeful.


He rushes out to attack some Zone scum.


He instantly gets shot by a Zone sniper, but the picture file was missing on this one.

Back to TGIA, the TGIA supporter runs into the fire department, none of the fire-fighters notice him because they are having an argument over whether to paint the house orange (In support of ZONE) or red (in support of ZE).


He grabs one of the firefighters flame throwers.


And proceeds to crisp up some Zone Butts. He fails to kill anyone tho.


Zone turn 2

The Rhinoceros Tank dives up.


It fires it's MG turret but misses with the cannon.


One Flash commando goes down, full of MG turret holes.


TGIA turn 3.

Commander Flash leads the last of his squad against the tank in retaliation.
He uses his heroic feat to break open the tank hatch and pull out the primary pilot.


The rest of the squad fire on the Zone support troops, killing all but the motor trooper behind the tank.


The EMU's turret shoots at some droidikas, but diddn't kill any.




PLE turn 3

The Volunteer squad moves into the red building.


The second squad takes to the alleyway.


Well, half the second squad.


They all fire on the Rino tank.


Destroying it completely, the explosion kills the motor trooper. ZONE ELIMINATED


Sending Commander Flash flying through a window.


Meanwhile the PLE engineer manages to secure the bombs in the factory...


A PLE medic tries to revive a comrade-in-arms...


And a PLE officer blankly stares off into space. (or was he a medic?)


TGIA trun 4

The hard suit finally caches up by hard sprinting.


...



He takes cover behind some sandbags.


The Flash troopers, releasing the danger they are in head for the buckitiod base.


The EMU truck, sick of shooting, runs over the droidikas instead.


The security droids were fairly useless, absolutely failing to kill anything.


PLE turn 4

PlE snipers, medics and other hogwash pick up some Zone hardware.

They then combine fire with the volunteer squads on the EMU truck.


Blowing it up.

Both the pilot and the gunner fail on their bail-out roll.


TGIA turn 5

TGIA Commandos shoot through the flames at the PLE Volunteers, rolling some overkill, they shoot down a wooping 5 PLE units.


Commander Flash bursts the door down on the evil lair.


He shoots up everyone inside before they can respond.


And Grabs the Spider!

PLE turn 5

Lets just say it didn't go well for the remaining TGIA forces


Everyone but the Commander Got gunned down by superior firepower.


A nice shot of the barbed wire before the EMU blows up.

TGIA turn 6.

Mission finished, Commander Flash is forced to make a cowedly but strategic retreat into a convenient helicopter.


WOKAWOKAWOKA!


Finish! TGIA tectakly won, but PLE still had ground forces, so I guess it was sort of a tie.

This was a pretty cool report. You had some really cool pictures mixed with some blurry ones, but the battlefield was really cool and stood out for me. Good work!

Not yet, ZONE was going to get one yesterday, but it got held up.

Actually, only TGIA belongs to me, ZONE and ZE are owned by my bro, (one of the players were borrowing ZE for this battle) and PLE belongs to a friend, he was thinking of joining the forum, but if he doesn't then I will post it for him.

Yeah, well ZONE and ZE are what's left of the ZONE MC, there was a civil war and... well.. I'll just do an armoury post with the all the Kannon.
