The reaper moves up and unloads on the prone guys. For once, a machine gun actually gets a kill without jamming. This unusual good fortune is balanced out by the mortar tube operator critfails both skill rolls and both mortar tubes blow up.
The Volanti leap halfway across the river, firing as they go.
