Mmm!
I was wondering if people would be interested to start a huge RPG campaign in a medieval fantasy world.
Lords of Kastil ( the "world" is called Kastil by its residents)
There is 5 joinable factions,
Weisshaupt
Nokheim
Mådplatz
Free men of Kraskyw
Bandits/Freelancers
By joining, you'd choose a faction. Name your character, and write a short backstory for your character you'd play as.
For starters I'd be the game master who will decide how some major plot lines turn out to be.
But with my blessing players could do battles/forum battles themselves and write me how it turned out. And everything you did would impact the world. Which I'd represent as a map. And wars would affect the map control of the factions.
We could also do loads of non fighting RPG, maybe a Knight of Kraskyw would like to plot with a count of Nokheim to hinder Mådplatz trading and income. Fuck yeah, lets hide dead rats to Mådlian fish crates to ruin their merchants reputation.
Bandit king wants to hold a competition who builds the best looking wagon? Lets hold a competition!
Possibilities are endless, anyone can join and "our" world reacts to everything we do. Players can plot and scheme together and try to usurp entire kingdoms if they wish to, or amass wealth so they can form a kingdom themselves. Or preach to the peasants so that they form a rebellious secessionist faction.
What do you guys think?
