Re: Medievo Space [WIP]
What helmet did you use for The Reaper and Skragg from your Undead Spacemen army? I am having a hard time tracking it down on Bricklink. Thanks for the assist with the QuikWars Rules!!!

Re: Medievo Space [WIP]
I really gave some thought into your armies and just finished designing an ELF Jetbike in LDD. I am working on the ELF Walker next. I renamed your Elven army the Elven Liberation Front, your Ork army the Ork Republik Kommand, and your Dwarf army the Dwarf Warrior Army of Resistance Fighters. I tried to use the acronyms of ELF, ORK, and DWARF. I have not come up with an acronym for the Skellies yet, but I will have my hands full revamping three armies and I think that three armies is a lot to contend with for now. I hope to add to the ELF a Walker, a Hovertank, and a Skiff or Artillery Guns. I may leave the Skiff for the DWARF army. I will be using Warhammer 40K, Starcraft, and Star Wars for inspiration. Enjoy the image of the ELF Jetbike and please let me know how it looks and if I need to change the color scheme up.

Re: Medievo Space [WIP]
Undead Legion (Still a WIP, like most of Medievo Space)

The dead rise again to wreak havoc on the living; man, elf, dwarf, and orc alike. For what purpose have they reentered the land of the living?
Ghouls

Ghouls are the brunt of the undead force. Although they are fragile, they are fast and vicious. Their large numbers can overwhelm any force.
Skeleton Riflemen

The riflemen are the basic ranged unit of the undead. Although they are clothed in rotted garb from being raised from the grave, they are equipped with powerful laser rifles.
Banshees

Banshees are spell-caster units for the undead. They are immune to physical damage but take double damage from magik (including fire). They cannot cast any offensive spells, only: buffs, curses, and possessions.
Possession Spell - User can forgo their form and possess another body (remove this unit from the game). In order to succeed the user must role against the target's skill. If the role succeeds they posses that unit and control it. If the unit was dead upon the possession then user gets permanent control for the rest of the game. If the unit was alive, the skills role against each other at the start of each turn. If a unit that is possessed dies or rejects the possessor (wins skill role) the original possessing unit is for all intents and purposes dead. Range=7in
Mummy Knights

Undead knights upon undead steeds. Aside from their necro-lances, they also have laser crossbows mounted to their steeds for ranged attacks.
Dread Knight and Dread Guards

Dread Knights are a hero unit for the Legion. Once powerful human warriors, their bodies were taken by necromancers and raised after various long rituals and copious amounts of sacrifices. Dread knights have powerful combat and necro magik with the swordsmanship to match. This dread knight is flanked by two dread guards who he can sacrifice for stronger spells.
Necromancer and Acolytes

Necromancers specialize in dark magik specifically reanimation. The Necromancer in the middle can act as a hero unit for the Legion while the acolytes are just spellcasters. Both Necromancer and Acolyte know the spell raise ghoul.
Raise Ghoul Spell - Caster can raise a fallen ghoul using their action and skill die (not SN). Success is based on caster's skill role, (Skill Die: 1-3=0 ghouls, 4-5=1 ghoul, 6+=2 ghouls) Range=5in.
Vampyre Lord Xanthus and Vampyre Revenants

Xanthus is an ancient Vampyre who's past is shrouded in mystery and lost in the pages of time. He is the main Champion and leader of the undead. Since he is a vampyre he is able to thrall, use blood magik, and has 2 hit-points, his revenants can do the same. Xanthus also weilds a legendary necro blade that grants him the ability to do two attack actions once a game.

I like the idea behind the ghouls, however instead of slapping their head on their backs, you could go for an exo force robot hand + 1x1 round stud with hole to mount the proper, as well gaining some neck posability. Swapping them out to be fully white would be also rad but I could get if you cba getting a ton of extra battle droid pieces when you have this many as is.
Re: Medievo Space [WIP]
All of this is the ideal vision, but it always comes down to parts on hand and what I'm willing to purchase. I was already thinking about the head switch, I just gotta find all the parts. Their bodies will probably stay tan because I'm not going to invest in 14 white battle droid bodies. Plus as I find more droids in my collection I can make more ghouls!Zahru II wrote:I like the idea behind the ghouls, however instead of slapping their head on their backs, you could go for an exo force robot hand + 1x1 round stud with hole to mount the proper, as well gaining some neck posability. Thanks for the advice though, your stuff has always been an inspiration for me.
Re: Medievo Space [WIP]
So I tried this and the heads were too swivel-y for my liking, if anyone has any other suggestions feel free, otherwise they are just gonna stay the same.Zahru II wrote:I like the idea behind the ghouls, however instead of slapping their head on their backs, you could go for an exo force robot hand + 1x1 round stud with hole to mount the proper, as well gaining some neck posability. Now for some updates. This is some sort of Bone Abomination, its a WIP and I would appreciate some feedback and criticism!

Its got a heavy necro-kannon that melts the flesh off the living, and a giant claw-hand for grabbing and crushing things.

Tank full of necro-fluids
Re: Medievo Space [WIP]
Yeah, I'm not into the gums either. I'm gonna try to switch to white tiles.
It's the technic part that makes the head spin around, there isn't enough friction.

Your ghouls, somehow, are fucking terrifying. Good job.

Re: Medievo Space [WIP]
Oh right, I forgot that tech only worked with cylinders. Last thing I could think of is simply using a 1x1 plate with sideways clip, although it's a bit pedestrian compared to the other solutions and you probably gave it a go already.

Re: Space Medievo [WIP]
I decided to Name the Planet, on which these factions exist, Novium (Novum is latin for new era). The factions of Novium have access to futuristic technology, but there is no space travel. The planet is in a pocket of space only accessible by a wormhole which is bound by a higher magik beyond the understanding of most and thus isolated from the rest of Nehellenium. The inhabitants are much like those of normal fantasy settings, but they have developed in technology.
I plan to do a detailed post for each faction including racial abilities, backstory, and all that fluff. I am waiting on some part orders to do some updates and then I may start a whole new post to present everything.
