Serious brand question (Not so serious.)

Post by DehCanadianJedi » Mon Jul 25, 2016 10:45 pm

So, since I have a vague idea of what I'm getting myself into, will I be looked down upon/have war declared immediately if I use megabloks for the majority of my armies? I do use legos, but I prefer the wider variety of pieces and 'figs that megabloks offers. Plus they are far more affordable than legos where I live, so it's mainly a matter of cost and quality to me. Anyway, once the army is ready there will be plenty of chaos and destruction. :studgod:

I know how you feel mate, my lego boxes are contaminated by mega bloks which results in some of my vehicles having mega bloks bits on them. I also think mega bloks has a wider variety of bricks.

I'm not sure if this is true, but I wouldn't be surprised since they lean towards giant molds for things over brick built versions.

Your right I maybe exaggerated a bit, but yeah MB has some blocks that would be very useful for lego projects.

For example, they have so many damn curved blocks... If I could post pics of all the pieces like that that I have it would basically be a whole thread unto itself. However, the multitude of custom made blocks for the sets make them far more accurate to their source. I mean, have you seen the Exoatmospheric banshee kit?

Yes I have and I also wish lego made more curved bricks.

Especially if they're pinned under a megabloks wraith.
I have to say, this thread turned out much better than I expected it to be. Even had the legendary Overwatch_Elite pop in and show support. Hopefully I will display my army in the next few days when I have time. Hopefully I will not disapoint.

Also, if I used a covenant (From halo) based army, that doesn't violate any rules of the The Armoury or unseen rules of the community? I have a completely different explaination for them in-brikuniverse if that helps.

I don't honestly mind, just as long as it's :666: , and the grimdarkness of some Megablox sets is pretty :666: . Just do whatever, man. Diversity is good.
