Stein's Gate on Steam

Post by Tzan » Fri Sep 09, 2016 8:42 pm

Just came out today.
Looks like there are some UI translation issues, read the reviews first.
No deal breakers probably.

seems the big new craze is taking already made fan translations and scooping up the translators then making something like a kickstarter to get more money for "official translations" while you take down the old links then charge no less than $30 for games that came out 7 years ago

seriously, that shit is way more common than you think, and yet even after using existing translations they ALWAYS manage to fuck something up anyway!

Didn't this come out on the vita already? Why play it on steam when you can play on the best handheld ever made?

You can't play it on original Gameboy.

The best handheld is a clipboard with 10 sheets of copier paper and a black Uniball pen.
I use mine every day.
It's literally 3 inches away from my left hand right now.

Hmm, lets see whats written on it now.

"Combat Golf_______________________________________________________9/15/16"

The rest of the page is blank.

might as well cross it out, if you think you can get rid of golf then you are fighting a futile battle old man

Or are you inventing Combat Golf? I would totally watch that sport.

It might involve hitting golf ball sized grenades and blowing up obstacles and bunkers occupied by militant grounds keepers.
Each grenade you hit counts as a swing on your score, you still need to get the ball in the hole.

Explosions deform the terrain and destroy trees of course.

I just spent the last 2 weeks making some bullshit golf ball physics.
Not quite done with that part.

This is at 1/3 scale.
I made everything work at full size, then scaled things down.
