Area of effect damage

Hello, name's Chris, i'm new to BrikWars and have a problem i can't solve on my own.

How to i calculate the stats of an area of effect weapon, that has no XSize?
We had a giant snake in out last battle, that could spit poison puddles onto the battlefield, which stayed there as a field hazard and to damage living things on contact.

I tried to calculate the stats for this with the explosive damage rules from chapter 8, but this does not work since the snake had no Xsize for it's poison.

Am i missing something?

Hey Chris. Welcome to the forums. It looks like the snake is firing an exposure dice field hazard. The cp cost of it is equal to dice x field size. So the field size is either what you payed for or what you want. If you are going to fire it out of a launcher then you need a launcher of at least the field size to fire it.

Oh, i totally overlooked the field hazards in chapter 8, things make <a href='http://tinyurl.com/y42zurt'>alot</a> more sense now, Thanks <a href='http://tinyurl.com/y42zurt'>alot</a>.
