SteamWorld : Heist

Post by Tzan » Sun Oct 02, 2016 5:38 pm

Got this on Steam, really good game.

Like in the description, it mixes XCOM movement and cover with Worms aim yourself and shoot.
Not a super serious game, but if you get wiped you lose alot of water (money) to repair your robots.

Grenade launchers are here but they bounce around, arc, hard to aim, so I don't use them.
Those explosions are the only way you can damage your own guys.
I've completed several missions with just 1 to 3 health on several guys, if I had damaged myself it would be a loss.

I made my first Steam review for this.
I just wanted to hit the Like button but they force you to add text.
I think I wrote: "Good".
Then 7 people took time out of their day to "review" my review.
1 like 6 not so much.
Seriously I just wanted to hit a Like button because it needed the boost, it seems to be unknown.

Here we see the reason why Steam user reviews are bullshit.

Donald Trump: "WRONG! Steam is water in the gas phase, which is formed when water boils!"

No, I mean that you mistook the "positive review" button for a "like" button. The interface and years of facebook training doesn't help, but nobody seems to grasp that fact.

I've never "liked" anything on Facebook.

I just wanted to give positive upvote like liking it without actual word things.

Fair enough, I'm overgeneralizing. Maybe the situation would improve if Valve added an actual like/dislike button in addition to the formal reviews.
