In Mikes defense, there are two reasons that it's taking so long:
1. Many real world obligations
2. The rulebook is professional quality (or better). Formatting all that shit takes forever, all those illustrations take many many hours to create, making all the tables look consistent is a challenge, writing all the rules in a clearly understandable and coherent and entertaining way is also pretty difficult. Dude should be monetizing the fuck out of that shit when its done. Could at least sell it at the Brikmania store in mall of America with all the other LEGO offshoot products. I have his email if you want it.


As for my own early forum days, in 2008 I was 15. I think I discovered Brikwars at 13 and checked the mainpage for updates like every week and thats pretty much when the forums started. Anyway; my spelling/grammar was really bad the , not even because I was bad at either of those things, just because I was too lazy and didn't care enough to proofread. I had a huge ego the. and I still have one now: but Im more self aware of it now, and try not to annoy people with it. General maturity boost: I cring if I read things that 15 or 16 year old me literally said. My lego building, photo taking, post writing, and content creating skillss are all much better now.

Can confirm I contracted chunibyo as an adolescent. The realization that I wasn't a special snowflake hit me kinda hard and gave me my first major bout of depression in years (this was about 2-3 years ago). I can no longer cringe at my old posts because they are gone, either by Overlution or by censorship.

The realization that I wasn't a special snowflake hit me kinda hard and gave me my first major bout of depression in years (this was about 2-3 years ago).

I think America has a name for that illness as well, it's called being a millennial.

Though I played BW in high school with my younger brother, I did not become an active forum member until adult years and grad school (2010-2013). I guess I was quite intimidated and timid at first, having little by way of army size or MOC skill. I gladly found a niche in medieval battle reports. My building skills may have marginally improved since then, but I think my forum mannerisms are much the same as they've always been.
