I think the current lego threads on /toy/ are your best bet finding them. They're still just preliminaries however. Also someone seemed to have an in-hand copy of next year's rock/stone warrior mook.

Ahem.stubby wrote:As far as I know, it's all still ABS. ABS has different formulations and molding techniques. If lower-quality stuff is coming out of China (which I haven't heard anything about one way or the other), it may mean that they're using a different ABS formulation or methodology. It might even be environmental differences in temperature or humidity or even altitude pressure causing a different result. Plastics are finicky, and Lego goes to absurd lengths to hide their molding tech secrets. (I figure they just don't want anyone to find out that all true Lego pieces are summoned through some kind of hellmouth fed with the blood of abducted Mega Bloks employees).
If ABS is like chocolate then it may be that it's a different polymorph of ABS, where the polymer chains stack in a different way or the stacked chain blocks settle at different angles to each other. In chocolate (and probably potentially in ABS) this is to do with how the mixture is cooled.
Also voin's environmental politics were still relevant to a degree.

Might have to pick one up, and make a larger tank for my dudes. Something King Tiger-esque.

Really loving the rebel battle pack. I think I might buy some to bolster my solder's ranks. I don't really like the lack of uniformity, tho. Anyone know the price on the RC traded thing?

The old Hoth battlepack rebels had more consistent uniforms. Those make up My small detachment of "Rangers" currently. Whole faction still WIPVoin wrote:A rebellion can still have uniformsCADmonkey wrote:This is a rebellion, isn't it?Steel_Valkyrie wrote:I don't really like the lack of uniformity, tho.

There' is a resistance battle pack and the Rebels battlefront ones out right now that have more uniformity if you need that.Steel_Valkyrie wrote:Really loving the rebel battle pack. Re: New sets discussion (2014/15/16)
The thing is, I love their Hats with the goggle mount, and the Rebel battlepack only has one for four troopers (But their torsos are beautiful). So I might get a couple of each and have the rangers be semi-uniform, with each trooper having some uniform choice. And a pickabrick order of those biker goggles.
