Signatures Not Showing Up?

For some reason people's signatures are not showing up for me on either my phone or my computer, is this just me or did something change?

Nope, they're gone.

EDIT: I checked and have both automatically post signatures and show all signatures on in my User Control Panel, so someone must have turned them off through the admin or global mod options. Or the website is broken. Who knows.

I guess a board admin removed them bc everyone kept having shitty signatures with the size of an entire football field. I don't mind really.

While we're at it, is it possible to install a phpBB plug-in for awarding users medals and trophies, so we can continue to brag about our achievements, nevertheless? I recall other forums having something like that even though it was for an older version of phpBB.

This seems pretty useless. If anything only give out the medals and trophies out for the shittiest things, not for good things.

I kind of mind, actually. I know everyone has a kind of lulz, the forums are stupid and I'm too cool for school but I spend all my time here anyway, hurdur attitude. And that's fine for the most part. Funny even, occasionally. And while I didn't think the badges would matter to anyone, a few people actually seemed to like them and were actually including them in sigs. So I invested some time in creating them for the contests. I see them less as an elitist brag and more of a nifty pat on the back and a thanks for a job well done.

As for me, my sig was light, just a link to all my shit in one place. Several other users do the same thing and I found it organizationally useful.

Same. Maybe could there be a max size for signatures? Like, I dunno, maximum one GIF or Image per sig? It probably doesn't work that way though.

Accurate. I was spending too many hours a week dealing with people abusing the sigs system, and they wouldn't take a fucking hint. Every time I set a limit in the board prefs, they'd find a way around it, to the point that I couldn't do anything else on the forum because all my time was spent policing their fucking giant sigs. So now nobody gets sigs anymore, because I used up all my ideas for fixing the problem and eventually it wasn't worth the amount of time I was putting in.

I'm not going to say Voin was the only one, because that would have been a problem easily solved by just banning his IP block. But it was 90% Voin.

The other solution was to create a second-class forum member group that had signature rights disabled. But then I have to deal with Voin and all the other Voinlikes blowing up every feed with claims of censorship and political correctness and stupid shit, which they were already doing anyway because I kept trying to keep their sigs down to a reasonable size. So forget it. Easiest solution for me is to disable sigs. Whether that's the best solution for anyone else is not an issue because all my fucks have already been spent on this one.
