Invasion of Shadow Prime, game 02- Finished!

The Space Austrians move up- not in range. They take cover, while their hero goes towards the red truck in the direction of the ruined spaceship.

(motorhead fan) Darkstorm infantry moves up.

I figured the tank's main gun could try to overskill a shot (the shot was too far, needed more range).

just enough to hit.

the damage, however, while enough to kill the minifig (first blood!), was really pathetic.

By the way, I have a WIP SHIP- it currently totals about 100 studs long, 15-20 studs high, and 10 studs wide (at some parts it's more than that). I look forward to crushing a bunch of forces with it. It has a size 8 gun, along with two cannons (idk how big) and a missile launcher (which may be removed), along with a possible hangar and more to come.

While it does not have the color-coherent brikwork that other SHIPs have, I say it simply has 'personality.'
I am coming up with a storyline as to why it is colored as it is.

I've decided that I'll play the factions not chosen yet until people fill those roles. I kinda just want to keep the game moving, and people can definitely still join and take over factions I play. I also haven't been able to play a game of Brikwars for a while, so I can get in on the action!

and fires an explosive into the air towards the DRK troops. The round will come down next turn.

Ok, I've decided to kick motorhead_fan for being afk (I gave him time)
the turn will be updated shortly.
his position will be open, and if you (motorhead fan) come back, feel free to resume. the units will not move until his position is filled. Two roles still open guys, and now his extra one.

SSA Armored
they again advance, shooting but not hitting anything.

Space Austrians
The Space Austrians move away from the predicted point of impact.

one brave cleric runs forward and shoots his Locklear's bolter II. Somehow, it rolls massive overskill dice, flattening more than half of the SSA Armored, including Laserstrom, who rolled a total of 4 with a 3 armor roll.

SSA Tank
the tank attempts to shoot at the DRK tank.

Instead, it badly misses and hits the cockpit of the crashed spaceship. the hero attempts to fire again, and does, but no damage to anything.

The spaceship comes crashing down, causing one minifig to have to bail to avoid being crushed.

DRK Gunnery
Moves up, the snipers take a turn to aim after last turn's moving into position.
SSA Fire Support
The shot from last turn comes down.

The golden knight takes the shot like a boss - straight to the chestplate. He isn't even scratched.

The artillery chooses its next target. And yes, that thing is a huge rocket.

The infantry that is with SSA fire support moves up, and a few sprint for cover.

Once this battle is over, I'm going to try to get pics of my entire army, as I have not done so yet.

There is some storyline that I have not written yet, but I have thought up. It involves the treaty between the DRK and SSA forces. I will need to eventually have some sort of battle in the chat that displays this. Oh well.

the remaining troops move up and shoot.


One troop, however, has a plan.



Gunning the gas, the truck plows into not only a cleric, who is brutally slaughtered, but also the red truck, dealing damage but surprisingly not enough to damage either vehicle.



DRK Infantry
stands there like a bunch of dimmies.


Space Austrians

The space Austrians move up and shoot, killing nobody.



The hero yells over at the artillery guy, insulting him.
HA! USELESS FUNGAL INFECTION! YOU HALF-CHEWED PENCIL! WHAT ARE YOU, THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVAINIA? I'D RATHER LICK A LITERAL SHITE BURGER! (feat successful?)


the artillery guy starts laughing at the sheer hilarity of the insults; he will suffer a -1 skill penalty for laughing so hard. (yeah feat successful)

SSA Tank
The tank fires a cannon, using a heroic feat to aim better, killing a trooper and a Burgher.



SSA Fire Support
Literally fires with 0 skill.

the missed shot ends up totally not missing (I even used a stumble die for direction, as the shot was 7" off target)


DRK Gunnery
SNIPER!

the first sniper destroys the cockpit-window of the tank's turret, exposing the gunner to outside fire. hmm...

the second hits the energy battery for the artillery...

BOOM!!!


SUDDENLY...
A strange figure appears from the sky, and lands on the semi.

I AM DEATHSTORM! ALL DARKLORDS SHALL BOW BEFORE ME! ALL MORTALS SHALL BOW BEFORE ME! ALL SHALL BOW BEFOREME!!!
