They move in towards the shuttle, and Captain Harris climbs into the cockpit. Massed gunfire takes out both of the USA Marines.

One soldier sprints towards the fallen laser.
Jess and the other soldier fire on a Trattorian robot, but fail to damage it.
Jess: You seem like a decent fellow. Want to help us repair the ship if we cover you?

Chip Fuckmeister climbs on top of the ship and pulls out a microphone.
"Your time's up! Your ass is dead meat! 'Cause I'm Chip Fuckmeister, and all y'all are FUCKED!"
The terrified Britannians bail, and the mech pilot, inspired by Chip's speech, decides to body slam them.
Unfortunately, he misses.

The VoL ship is now flyable by anyone in the pilot's seat. Escaping with the ship and the window repair kit counts as a victory.

The dropship rapidly gains altitude, leaving the other combatants behind.
Chip runs forward and hits the sniper with his folding chair, knocking him off the ship.
He grabs Captain Harris and dangles him over the edge, trying to think of a good one-liner.
"Well, I guess you've uh... got a long way to fall!"
