Sorry I'm late, I want to get out of the lift and shoot any enemies in range

Re: The Prisoner [TURN 1 IN PROGRESS, AWAITING ORDERS]
Sorry, I thought I'd given my orders. Set up for response fire, target anyone who starts targeting us. Stay back from melee if possible. Oh, and if Magda/Bragallot gives me an order as my C.O., follow that.Duerer wrote:Giving a bit more time for Scribonius' orders as I am too tired to play out the turn rn.
Re: The Prisoner [TURN 1 IN PROGRESS, AWAITING ORDERS]
Wierzbowski (RedRover):

The cap leaves the lift and sets up for a response action.
Prisoners (ninja_bait):

The Prisoners leave their cell and grab the weapons dropped by the killed guards, while also taking Magda's keycard.

The inmate with the gun tried to shoot the guard next to the second lift but his gun overheated and needs to be fixed next turn.
Torpeda (motorhead fan):

Torpeda launches one of his grenades at the same target at the inmate before (3 grenades remaining).

It was enough to knock her back a couple of inches but not to kill her.
Lufa (Scribonius):

Same deal as Wierzbowski. Leaves lift and waits for some fool to cross his line of sight (response).
Prison Guards (me):

Warden Jurgis Adamkus: "A prison break?! In MY territory?!?! I will show you simpletons the might of my fencing skills!"
With an amazing sprint, the Warden and his elite guard are coming dangerously close to the rescue squad.
Stats:
Keep in mind that the elite guards have extended melee range due to their melt cannons.

Both soldiers who stood next to Sosabowski decided to leave the cavern and sprint outside to hinder the rescue squad.

The soldier in between both lower cells fires at the prisoner with the gun and fries him. The dropped gun still needs to be fixed before it can be fired again. Wierzbowski's response action has been activated as he takes a shot at the soldier. With no effect however.

The soldier at the lower right corner fires at Dr Etanol and manages to scrape off one HP (2 more remaining). The doc's response was to return fire but he was ultimately out of range.

Lufa's response, however, was much more effective killing the soldier on spot.

Another soldier sprints towards the rescue squad in order to entangle them.

Two more soldiers from the upper side decide to move up, whereas the left one takes a sprint as the right one fires at the other free prisoner.

Not even a scratch.

The soldier disrupted by the explosion stands up and moves up. Another soldier from the lower side of the battlefield takes aim at the prisoner again.

However...
Prisoner: "C'mon guys! You've got these high tech laser guns and can't even pierce thru my prison garb?! Talk about lame..."

The other prison guards stay at their positions to prevent the prisoners from escaping or rioting.

From the long corridor to the right reinforcements for the Lietuvan prison guards arrived. Three more elite guards are slowly approaching the battlefield.
Kills and Points:

Poles and Prisoners: 3 kills
Prison Guards: 1 kill
Magda Pierunska - 3/3 HP
Wierzbowski (Commando) - 3/3 HP
Dr. Etanol (Medic) - 2/3 HP
Laska (Melee Specialist) - 3/3 HP
Lufa (Sniper) - 3/3 HP

Re: The Prisoner [TURN 1 IN PROGRESS, AWAITING ORDERS]
Well, shit. Magda shall attempt a skillshot to kill one of the elite guards approaching her (basically, buffing the damage of her pistol attack or lowering the enemy's armour rating by hitting a weak spot).
Then I suggest we split into two groups of 3 and take cover inside the cell and the lift on either side so that we don't get completely surrounded and torn apart, with Magda protecting one squad against melee attackers while Laska protects the other two.
Fighting like this, we should be able to funnel the enemies into a choke point and kill them all.
Also, that prisoner is a badass.
The beard must be what's deflecting those shots.
edit: does 'no parry' mean the enemy's can't parry or that we can't parry their OTC's? 'cos I remember not being able to parry OTC's being a thing.

It means that OTC attacks cannot be parried. Same applies to BTCs.Bragallot wrote:edit: does 'no parry' mean the enemy's can't parry or that we can't parry their OTC's? 'cos I remember not being able to parry OTC's being a thing.

Re: The Prisoner [TURN 1 COMPLETED]
Does Magda get an exception 'cos she's a hero and can use weapons as if they were shields?
Re: The Prisoner [TURN 1 COMPLETED]
Nope but feats and redshirts are still a thing.

Crap.

Hat.
My response to those guys attacking me will be hoping I survive and then trying to kill them with a counter strike, in that case.
Re: The Prisoner [TURN 1 COMPLETED]
I mean, if the whole team manages to get orders in time they'll all have their orders played out before the guards. Til then there are different ways for y'all to thin out the lines or nerf them. All stats of the currently active figures are still in the OP.

Mr. Neckbeardski, emboldened by his apparent invincibility, rushes the prison Warden and gives him the zap!

Hey that's actually a much cooler/creative way to keep track of kills. I think I might try something similar.

I think our grenadier should launch a grenade at the warden and his guards before any of us move closer. Dr. Ethanol can do a flamethrower-style attack too, right? Might be a good idea to debuff as many of them as we can.
Laska moves around to the guard that's coming behind us
