Alternative Squad Contest

Hello one and all, and welcome to my alternative to my floppy penis's strict gunner-only 8 man squad "contest".

After seeing so many members disqualified and simply not entering really cool squads because they don't want to conform to my floppy penis's rules, and due to the fact that my own squad would not meet those rules, I figured an alternative contest was in order.

Feel free to post your cool squads in here, whether they be four, eight, or even twelve minifigs strong!

The only rule is that you have to have all your submissions in by January 19, which means that everyone (including me) will have a full week to get a cool squad or two put together.

Feel free to include vehicles with your squads, as a cool vehicle is bound to get you more votes than the competition. However, you'll only have one picture to impress the voters, so make sure that your squad and vehicles are small enough to fit into a single picture!

Nice squad J+B, It's good to know there is actually interest in an alternative contest!

As for the squad limit, well, I do need some kind of limit . . .

How does three squads per poster sound?

What do you mean gunner only? That doesn't make any sense at all.
And by "So many members" I believe you mean One-eye.

I will try and post two sqauds when i can convince* my parents to let me use the camera.

And Dr. X seeing as his squad was only 7 strong, that's one short. You only have RoC77, yourself, j+b, and Jaye Tea, my floppy penis. This guy already has three because I'm posting mine here, too. DIRECTLY FROM YOUR THREAD.

Anyway, here's my squad:

From left to right: Medic, support gunner, gunner/commander, grenadier, and pilot.
From left to right: Grenadier and pilot again, sniper/rifleman (his sniper rifle is on his back), and heavy gunner.
Now, what does the pilot drive and where is the anti-tank squad member you may ask?
The Wallaby class hardsuit. Those are small explosives launchers mounted on the shoulders.

Copying your stuff? If you read the first post, it says alternative contest. As in a contest people can enter if they don't like yours. What, are you afraid of a little competition?

As for the gunner only squad quip:

I'm holding a fig contest. Basically, I need a eight-fig squad that has the following separate roles:
rifleman
squad gunner
heavier support gunner
sniper
grenadier
Bazooka-man/anti vehicle
pilot
medic
AND
a commander role, which you can stick on any of the units you make.

As it was later established in your thread that grenadier was a heavy rifleman, that makes five (six if you count the commander) out of your required eight men gunners. What about people who want a ninja, pirate, zombie, ork, or Jedi squad? Are they expected to give their units futuristic weaponry that makes no sense at all? Seriously, the whole point of BrikWars is that you can do anything you want, why are you trying so hard to restrict that fundamental rule?

As for the lack of interest in an alternative contest, well I think OneEye hit the nail on the head regarding that issue.

Really, i'm seriously confused as to what you mean by "gunner only".
They're not ALL gunner's, I have NO idea were you got that. And they can make it in whatever era they want! The only thing limiting them is creativity!

So if we want a squad of Egyptians or Mayans or something we have to somehow give these cultures a bazooka so we can have an anti-tank squad member? How about a grenadier or heavy gunner? I'm PRETTY sure the Egyptians did not have any guns. I could be wrong.

But I'm not.

Maybe it's just my lack of creativity?
