The Pristine Commonwealth

The Pristine Commonwealth
Image
"The Armed Forces Of The Pristine Ulrion Commonwealth" - as the complete self-given name goes, is a military organization that emanated from small rebel groups, who didn´t endorse that the Commonwealth became a vasall state of the M-Throne Empire. After the living conditions didn´t change for many of the remote planets, antipathy for the Imperial jurisdiction grew, and more and more people not just tolerated the resistance, but supported it or even joined the ranks of the uprising Pristine Commonwealth. Forces consist partially of ex-military personnell, who also granted the "PC" access to former Commonwealth technology and weaponry. Most vehicles are unmodified Pre-Imperial ones with updated paintjobs, and the ranks of soldiers are joined by many more or less trained people who are displeased with the current situation. The main goal of The Pristine Commonwealth is to drive off the Imperial forces and all other factions (such as StarCorps) of the systems and establish a new Commonwealth without outside interference.

An Overwatch of the different types of units and structures. This list is not exhaustive.

Image
PC Executive Personnell
Mostly former Ulrion Commonwealth military leaders, now fighting for free homeworlds and better living conditions.
(No names assigned yet)

Image
PC Commanders / Heroes
Leading the troops to the battlefield with their unique styles and tactics
(No names assigned yet)

Image
PC Grunts
The lower military ranks, mainly new members with little to no combat experience, make up the most part of the ground forces. Due to the circumstances and the experience of their military leaders, they usually learn quickly and get up in ranks.

Image
PC Combat Troopers
With more military experience and better equipment, these forces are seen in most large operations.

Image
PC Archerettes
These experienced archery women kill their enemies from a distance without making a sound. Often used in guerilla missions, but can also cause mayhem in a big open battle.

Image
PC Macheteers
Close-combat soldiers. They have machetes (or other pointy and sharp things) and know how to use them.

Image
PC Mechaniks
The engineers often worked for the military or in skilled trades before joining the Pristine Commonwealth. They are familiar with the teknology and often are advantageous on the battlefield.

Image
PC Field Mediks
Either experienced medical personnell or semi-skilled labour - but always useful in a battle with limited resources and soldiers.

PC "Weasel" Combat Hover Bike
Used by the Pre-Imperial Commonwealth in large numbers for scout missions and riot control. Being easy to handle and to repair, it has become widespread among the systems of the Commonwealth, and therefore also easily accessible for the forces of the Pristine Commonwealth.

PC "Ondatra" Main Battle Tank
The Ondatra (Muskrat) MBT was the backbone of the Ulrion Commonwealth forces, and like other military vehicles was widely used in all systems, as it is deployable in nearly every type of terrain.

PC "Ratel" APC
The Ratel (Honeybadger) APC is one of the newly invented vehicles of the Pristine Commonwealth. Like most other APCs, it´s designed to allocate large amounts of troops quickly. The Ratel is unarmed, yet heavily armored and pretty fast, and can carry more than 20 troops and their respective equipment.

I'm very impressed with how much in depth you've gone with all these factions. Great job!

The Menders of Construction (MoC)

Post by MadMario » Sun Oct 04, 2020 5:12 pm

The Menders of Construction (MoC)
Image
The Menders of Construction - or MoC for short - are a galaxy-wide, religious infused network of construction workers.
Their main belief is, that there cannot be only destruction and war in the brikverse all the time, because then one day nothing would be left to destroy. So a small amount of minifigs has overcome the temptation of causing havoc, and instead started to prevent the brikverse from total destruction. On their eternal quest, they gather resources and evangelize new recruits for their cause. They also heavily depend on drone technology, for there are way too much resources on the countless battlefields for the minifigs to cope with. They also lately ordered vast amounts of BOCKSY™ cargo ships and drones to fulfill their duties. The hierarchic structure is similar to a clergy, with the Elder High-building Priest being the highest instance, going down to the basic construction workers, the "brothers" and "sisters".
The MoC get most of their motivation of their belief, and most of their orders from the Elder Priest, and rumours say that the Priest got his orders from the Elder God MOC-SOTHOTH himself, yet that is still speculation.

An Overwatch of the different types of units and structures. This list is not exhaustive.

Image
The Elder High-building Priest Thaddeus Holtz (2nd from left), the Reverend Foreman Corvin Drayton (3rd from left), and two Archdeacon Foremen
The highest ranking persons that give the orders to the lower-ranked Deacon Foremen.

Image
Deacon Foreman Fenris Kingston (middle) and his Chaplain Constructors

Image
Billy, the Neophyte (middle) and two Advisors
Recently rescued from an abandoned battlefield, Billy dedicated his life to the cause of the Menders.

Image
The Brothers of the Barrier Baggage
These brothers scout the battlefields for possible threads and then peg the borders of the area where resources shall be recovered.

Often there are landmarks, statues or other recognizable things on a battlefield that define them, and to make sure that future battles can be fought in a remarkable landscape, the MoC sometimes repair such landmarks instead of recycling them. For these tasks there are several types of profession in their ranks:

Image
The Prior Painters

Image
The Monk Mechanics

Image
The Beacon Deacons
Most of their work is to coordinate the drones and vehicles on the reclamation zones.

Image
The Multi-Tool Monks
Can perform all kinds of tasks with their multifunctional devices.

Image
The Powergun™ Priests
They wield the Powerguns™, a device formerly invented by the CSA. It can manipulate, move, rearrange, disintegrate and levitate ABS. They can also function as a weapon if someone still sneaks around the battlefield.

Image
The Brawler Brothers
These Monks in Power Armor can deal out blows and take a beating in return, and are mostly seen securing reclamation zones or protecting cargo bays.

Image
Several Specialists
All kinds of professions are needed for all these different construction and destruction tasks.

Vehicles are mostly color-coded within the MoC: Red are autonomous drones, orange are semi-autonomous or remote-controlled vehicles, and yellow are piloted vehicles.

Image
Reclamator Drones
Collect, process and retreive ABS from the battlefield.

Image
BOCKSY™ Mk1 LightBot / Mk2 HeavyBot Drones
They fill several rolls in the ranks of MoC. Mostly where it´s too dangerous for minifigs, or if not enough living personnell is available.

Image
Cargolifter Drones
These airborne Drones can be equipped with several types of fastenings, and so are able to carry most types of cargo containers.

Image
BOCKSY™ Gunboat
The first of many commissioned ships manufactured by BOCKSY Corp. The small gunboats guard the fleets of Cargo Haulers that collect and transport the precious resources.
