Battle for the ruins [Turn 2 up]

[Infinity]

Two forces meet at the ruins of a long forgotten castle, blue against red, 2 sides forever destined to be enemies.
Blue troops:

Two crossbowmen and a man-at-arms follow a legendary archer into battle. Crossbowmen use ranged weapons and have short swords, man-at-arms has heavy armor(deflection) plus a light shield, as well as a greatsword. The archer has a longbow and a saber, and has the archer/marksman heroic cliché.

An elite knight, the champion of many tournaments leads 3 royal spearmen. Spearmen are basic troops with spears, hero has the noble/knight cliche.
Red troops
A mercenary captain, a mercenary veteran, and two normal mercenaries guard the right flank of the red troops. Normal mercenaries have a spear, shield, and javelin, veteran has some sort of polearm, a javelin, and a shield. The mercenary leader has the expert swordsman heroic cliche.

The flank with the ruins is guarded by the red dragon soldiers. They have two armored soldiers, a knight, and their leader, a veteran who has survived countless campaigns and battles. Leader has grizzled veteran cliche, and he wields a greatsword and a shield. The knight has a halberd, and the two soldiers have heavy armor(deflection), and axe or spear, and a shield.

Additionally there are 2 secret factions.




Each faction has 2 heroes, but only 1 of them can use a heroic feat each turn.

my troops will move up and attack the blue guys or wait on overwatch for the blue guys to approach. for the heroic feat, the expert swordsman will perform a dizzying display of swordsmanship to confuse the enemy.

Feat Critically Sucessful the light blinds the ENTIRE blue team, disrupting them all and making the blue team soldiers with response actions lose the actions they have saved up.

The mercenary captain is pissed off, and he decides to fight Sir Owayne 1 on 1.Feat Sucessful Their battle happens outside of the turn order, and it ends when one of them dies. This duel ends this turn, but goes as many rounds as it takes for a death.
