The T.L.A. has updated the Speedy Modular Armed Reconnaissance Tank (S.M.A.R.T.) with a more compact and robust hull for combat in the post-Ragnablok universe.
The new S.M.A.R.T. design includes smoke grenade launchers and armor plating to protect the engines.
A smaller hull and an improved hover system offset the armor's weight to preserve its speed and maneuverability.
The S.M.A.R.T.'s default turret contains a rotary gauss cannon ideal for defeating heavy infantry, light vehicles, and aircraft. There are two other turrets, but I built them before March 1 for the previous version of this tank, so I won't show them until the contest is over.
Underside. The hover system includes the turbine from the previous version of the tank, but I built some greebles around it.
Boast:
I feel like this is some of the best detail work I've ever done. Using greebles to fill gaps instead of just scattering them wildly across the surface results in a much more believable look. Some of it's even functional - those two binocular pieces are statted as size 1 grenade launchers firing smoke grenades.
