I get it now that Rayhawk said that :P

It started because someone posted something about hating their little sister so I went off on a rant about them beating up on their little sibling, etc.

I saw this yesterday, but I had to go out. It sounds so familar but I couldn't quite place it. (Spent part of my day trying to figure it out.)

Is it from Ender Game? I haven't read that book yet. But I know I heard that quote from somewhere.....

My revised BMP-89

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=367676

I dropped the flamethrower & gatling guns for a coaxial .50 cal machine gun and smoke launchers. And re-did the plating on top.

I also re-did the internals. I compacted the engine up front and made room for a gunner. So, it's new capacity is 8, 1 driver, 1 gunner, and 6 man squad.

I love carrier vehicles. They are the core of a modern battle.

My official post number 1000 was "The whole battle?"

Very good. But where does the gunner sit? There doesn't seem to be enough space for an engine.

The Gunner is on the right, while the driver is on the left behind the engine. Yeah, the engine is a bit packed in there, but she's small in comparison to the MBT and what I'm building next.

That personnel carrier is pretty awesome. The turret and shape of the hull reminds me of a T-60, but a bit wider, and a whole lot more powerful. I wish I was that good at building armored vehicles...
Were it that simple...

This is really impressive. It's refreshing to see Brikwars players using high-end techniques like SNOT for their armies.

I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

Arrrghhh.... that's right, when he showed how to decipher the msg to Jodie Foster's character in Contact. I should be ashamed of myself, I saw that movie like 6 times(damn movie channels keeps playing the same movies all month).

My favorite line of his was "First rule in government spending: why build one when you can have two at twice the price?"
