If it was only recently it IS the servers. They will be fixed, it happens with everything. Give it a little while. Also try looking it up somewhere else on the internet. You'll find answers somewhere else I'm sure.
It happens almost everytime I try to play online (I'd say about 70% of the times I try).

And it only happens when my friends are online aswell and I want to play against them.
You didn't answer my question fully. Has it happened every time since you got the PS3 or has it only been happening recently?
Well, I just started to play online "recently" (1 month), but in this time span, it happened lots of times.

Okay, thanks.

I just Googled it and it happens to a lot of people in Portugal and the UK. The first few results with the search "Playstation 3 Portugal Problems" brought back an article that says it has something to do with the hardware, bringing up an "80010514 Error". According to some comments (I didn't read the entire article) Sony says they will replace the PS3, but it will take some time to ship it to you.

Maybe you should do some Googling and see if there's anything else on it. I'm not going to do it for you, as it's your Playstation and you obviously didn't look for very long for a solution.

In the meantime, here's a petition you can sign to make Sony replace your PS3 because of this problem free of charge.

Case closed. You're welcome.

No, that's not that error. It has a 7 in the middle of those numbers.

Do it

Also: goddammit bonn-o-tron! I've had that site on my favorites for two weeks just waiting for a good opportunity to use it!

EDIT: doesn't give any results, but I just randomly tossed a 7 in there. You get the point though.

Then if you aren't going to look it up yourself tell us the number! I don't understand. Do you not want your problem to be fixed? Take the error number, put it in Google, and LOOK FOR IT. There is a solution to your problem, you just have to find it which isn't that hard with Google.

Well, I actually find some answers, but they speak in a language I do not comprehend.

If you want the error number anyway, I think it's 80710102.

You're too frickin' lazy. I found the answer to your error message after two minutes of looking on Google. In English.

Find it yourself.

That "language that I do not comprehend" IS English, but has too much technical terms.

No, 360 Internet is paid.

Besides, this problem is easily solved. Actually, it solved by itself.

360 sucks.

l4d is by valve, mainly designed for PC and only released on 360 because microsoft own PCs! This is why the orange box for PS3 has been abandoned with no updates. Plus you can get resident evil on 360.
