Mobile fortress for space-marine army

Post by jmatthew » Thu Apr 02, 2009 7:35 pm

this started as a simple turret, that evolved downwards into first a tank, and finally a massive hovering anti-everything, gun-bristling, strike-drone-toting, fortress/ troop transport. pics are links.

That's massively strong and cool.

I like it.

I've been contemplating making something similar to this for my post-apoc mutant army. Just a giant, moving platform with some manned guns and things on it. Awesome.

I would not want to go up against this. Awesome work, it's massive yet it still looks sleek.

Very, very nice superheavy grav tank. 8) It looks like it may have enough room for some Panzergrenadier. How many troops does/could it hold?

3 pilots operate it. Apart from that, the interior can hold 3 or 4 more troops, depending on armament (or perhaps a nuclear warhead). The outside has two designated trooper seats on either side, but has space for many more troops to stand on the front, rear and side decks. I haven't yet crammed it with as many as i can to see exactly how many will fit.

Nice! Just a few tidbits that could be cleaned up, but what the heck, it's all about the mayhem! Pretty sweet.
