Army of the Czecho-Slovenian Republic

I've never lined these guys up for a photo-shoot before, so here I am doing it now.

These are the forces of the Czecho-Slovenian Republic (AKA the Czech-Republic) minus their non-spaceman allies (Wookies and Troll Avatars) and minus their light mecha.

The Czech-politician forces originally were a rag-tag militia that fought with the Assyrian Star Empire on some of their backworlds against the mysterious Redneck plague. Their history as a militia can be seen here in their ramshackle Death Cars. A cross between a car and a jeep, the Death Car squads are the only thing the Czechs can refer to as armoured units. The Czechs also have some smaller mecha, but they are not used as extensively as the Death Cars here. Typically a Death Car is given a Phase Cannon or an Auto Cannon for a turret. Only a few are not given rear weapons.

In front of the Death Cars are some Czech Super Commandos. These guys are their elite fighting unit. They are mainly skilled in close combat but have moderately ranged rifles as well.

Czech Commandos are the staple infantry. They drive the Death Cars and they make up the bulk of their ground forces. In the past their primary weapon was the Auto-Shotgun//Rocket Stick combo weapon, but in recent years they have upgraded to Assault Rifles. However, they always carry a variety of weapons so that they can perform well in non-standard situations. This unit for example has 2 commandos armed with Plasma SMGs for burning enemy armour units and has 2 commandos with the old Rocket Stick Auto Shotguns. (A Rocket Stick is an Auto Shotgun configured to fire rockets, but when they run out of rockets it can be used as an Auto Shotgun again.) You also see one of the commanders carrying an old Czech-politician Assault Rifle (a discontinued weapon) and another commando carries a laser rifle.

The Czechs only control 7 star systems, so their population is not large enough to form an army capable of dealing with all of their opponents. Their main adversary is the Assyrian Star Empire which controls upwards of 200 systems. This means that the Czechs must rely on Wookies and Terminator Robots to help fill the ranks. Here you see a couple of 2nd-Type Assassin Droids which look like spacemen along with 2 more Terminator robots armed with MK III rockets. There were also some Terminator robots in the Death Cars with heavy weaponry. The three guys in front in this picture are a scout unit of Czech Commandos with silenced laser guns and special armour.

These are the heroes of the Czech-Republic. On the left is Second in Command. He is in charge of most of the Czech ground forces, including the Commandos, Death Cars, and Terminator robots. Center is Democratus, leader of the Czech-Republic. Democratus carries a special pistol which fires poisonous crystal shards. To the right is Ice Man who carries the same weapons as Democratus. Ice Man is in charge of the elite Super Commandos. The Czech-Star Force is commanded by Democratus.

Speaking of which, here they are. Despite their ragtag origins, the Czechs are slowly becoming more advanced and getting better weapons. The Czech-Star Force is no exception. The main fighter used to be the old Vostok star fighters, but now they use the more advanced MiG II's. MiG II's carry two laser cannons and two concussion missiles. They are faster than the Vostoks despite their smaller engines. They are also lighter and stronger, but slightly less maneuverable. A squad of MiG II's is capable of holding off an Assyrian Longinus cruiser for a few minutes since they're hard to hit. This is usually long enough for the transport craft they are escorting to escape the battle scene, or if the battle takes place on a planet then the cruiser will get tied up firing at the MiG II's and not Czech forces on the ground.

So yea, that's the Czech Republic for y'all. This small group of star systems on the western fringe of Assyrian space which gained its independence from the Assyrians only a few G.R.'s before still has to deal with their parent empire, but as time has passed they have begun to prosper under Democratus' rule and now are starting to afford better weaponry to fend off the Assyrians and other aggressors.

its the rebel alliance only bad-ass with terminators it's beautiful all they need is a space cruiser to take on the assyrians.

In that battle the cruiser faced off against a bunch of Vostoks as well as a MiG II and got hit with MK III missiles from Czech ground-forces. It also got shot at by the Space Pirates' gun tower. The cruiser alone vs 3 MiG II's alone would almost assuredly be a win for the cruiser, though they would cause some serious damage. Remember, even with support from the Czech ground forces my cruiser still shot down all the Vostoks you had.

Very nice, I can't wait to finish my OPFOR. So, I take it then your not going to be posting your Assyrians until your AC is complete?

The Assyrians have more ground guys and obviously the big death cruiser, but they need more vehicles and stuff. Right now the Czechs have more which is problematic.
