the metric army of oxon

yep im finaly gonna show you my army!

the army of oxen constistss of
1 Space bus type 2 shuttle
1 Dove AT attack craft
2 hummingbird VTOLs
1 Gladiator battle tank with a choice of turrets
1 armadillan heavy armour unit
1 ardvark
2 elite guard
cammander Tahthing (hero with no crankyness to Alen)
sub cammander Alen (hero with no crankyness to Tahthing)

okay lets start on details on the units

Hummingbird VTOL

these are one of the latest units made for the expanding army, they got there name from the front machine guns, they have
2 grenade lanchers
1 machine gun

Armadillan armord defence craft

the Armaddillan gets its name from the fact it packs a punch while still haveing lots of armore despite being a defender it is very fast, though it apears to have tracks it dose not.

okay there history
after people relised that they could not save earth they set of to settle on diffrent planets the original people of oxon constied of the space bus and the dove(which was unarmed). since oxon is such a nice place to live they had to defend it from many diffrent people they have masterd time travel so they can take out people before they even head to the stars(we are talking big time machine like size of london).
overtime they had to build more and modify there crafts the first was the gladiator tank which later was given a railgun(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railgun) later the railgun was made optional and enoughter was added.
dureing the settlement of enoughter planet they met a strange group who flew around planets steeling what they wanted the oxons cristend them space pirates there where many battles between the space pirates and oxons but most have given in and are now liveing happy under oxons pretection.
over time they delelopd a militry many of there units are weakly armord in exchange for speed(the hummingbird is a example here with little armor and two large jets).
the planet of oxen has patchs of trees and swamps and else where its winding deserts where winds average at 50mph this means for there lighter viacles(humming bird,dove,artillary) they have to use heavy transporters(not yet built or pictured). in the swamps there at there best since both the gladiator and the armadillan have a floating mode(it has to be manuely changed if it hits water with out it on it sinks) the artillary has to go round with the heavy transport.

I've yet to seen somebody use this backstory, then again i don't spend everly wakeing(and sleeping) hour on the internet looking at lego armys.
and really theres only choices since people settle places for reasons its not like if your thrown though a wormhole with some one of the oppasit sex your gonna creat a race since you would probeley die before the child(assuming you do have it and give birth) is old enought to fend for it self.

From what I can see, a great army, but it needs more Infantry. An all-infantry army with lots of missiles could pick those apart, sorry. You just can't shoot them all fast enough.

ide like to see a handheld missile bit though my gladiator tank and both the gladiator and amadillan have machine guns that can fire 20 shoots while the turrets rottate thats about 10 units dead in one move and the gladiator has 3 people with a options of move only once a turn, fire machine gun-can be used by every pilot in single turn, fire main cannon-only once, fire 2 missiles-only once. so thats 30 or so units dead.
then theres a total of 4 high blast radius tracker missiles(on the gladiator) and 4 plasma high damage trackers(on the dove).
the hummingbirds have duel granade lanchers on there underside and forward machine guns(only 10 shots though).

and the space pirates that i originaly made as a oponent fraction have been beaten many times although infantry bassed, but there gonna join the metrics so ill be posting pictures of them soon.

I don't like this at all.
Blurry, pics, shoddily built and unoriginal vehicles, and more grey. Those all contribute as to why. The unoriginal backstory doesn't help too much either.

those flying vehicles are cool but the rest is.... unoriginal. (better than ww2 jeep though)

Nice use of the jet engine, for your artillery.

But those pics are pretty hard to look at, if I can make semi decent pic's from my phone camera, you can too.
