BlockWars: Battle of the Bad-Guys (Intro)

Post by RJ » Wed May 27, 2009 1:40 pm

I know its a bit early (i still haven't finished CftC) but to make sure i qualify for most continuous forum battles, i decided to do an introduction. Here it goes:

[ominous music in background]
The best (or worse) Sci-fi Bad-guys are back...
They fought our favorite sci-fi heroes many times...
...Always unsuccesfully in the end...
[music getting louder]
But this time...
[louder]
...they're not fighting the heroes...
[Suddenly changes into actiony music]
...They're fighting each other...

A not so long time in the future in a BlockWorld not so far away...

You have an emperor Zurg?
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

I want to see if that's what he was talking about. If so, that's terrific*.

*Someone needs to make more adjectives that are synonymous to 'cool', 'awesome', or 'epic'. None of these sound right. Stupendous? Super? Magnificent? Glorious? They're all either too ordinary or too exuberant**.

**A note on exuberant; I had to look it up to see if it actually meant what I think it did. It turns out it does.***

***Yes, I word thing awkwardly on purpose sometimes. This is one of those times. Most of the times it's unintentional. I need to work on that.

I call Alien!

PS yes, I know, correcting Blitzen is like biting a tiger on the tail, but I couldn't resist.

Isn't it a bit early to be doing #2 when #1 isn't even finished? Still, I'll take any faction unreserved.
EDIT: I'll take Vader, because I know one's Vader.

Nah, I do that all the time, I had thought of Project: Reeve while working on I-75's endgame, and I'm currently looking into doing a Jurassic Park brikwar.

Hell, I even think 'epic' is a stupid word.

SUBSTITUTES FOR AWESOME THAT I'VE USED:
Dank, Cran, Saran, Cran-saran, Saran-wrap, Down...

These are all words my roommate from Santa Barbara may or may not have made up. Regardless, they're pretty damn cran.

satisfying is always a good substitute

the opposite of satisfying is clumsy. You can also use horrible, but you have to say it with lots of emphasis (i.e. hoooooorrible)
