The worst use of the Lego license in History!
Besides Dora and Diego, of course.
This is so stupid it's unbelievable. It would be one thing if they made snacks to look like monochromatic, disproportioned versions of Lego characters, but these are exactly the same shape and size as real Lego bricks, and though not the same colors, that doesn't necessarily matter to kids. Can't you just see one of those asshole satanists who slithers out from under a rock on Halloween deliberately mixing in some real Legos with these things and giving them to kids? I sure can! Speaking as a guy who once ate a Manly Santa Day ornament due to mistaken identity, I declare this a horrific idea for a product.

The difference between Autism and Optimism? Autism is a mental disorder; Optimism is a SEVERE one.

Yes, because that guy would be me.Professor Fairfield wrote:Can't you just see one of those asshole satanists who slithers out from under a rock on Halloween deliberately mixing in some real Legos with these things and giving them to kids? I sure can!
Honestly, I don't see the big deal. There's tons of unlicensed candy bricks that you can build crap with and then eat, and this is just another, safer one of those. They're gummi for god's sake! If a kid's old enough to open up a packet of gummi candies, s/he probably can tell the difference between soft, delicious gummi and cold, hard plastic.
Of course, I garuntee you that these things taste horrible.

As someone who actually ate sweatheart-esque LEGO candy back when I was about 5 years old, I must say that I never once considered eating real briks.

Blimey, that is a boneriffic idea. I present to you a simple premise - many, many people are quite stupid. Now stupid is not a word I like to toss around often because it implies an intellectual comparison which is simplistic to the point of banality. Unfortunately sometimes you have to look around and realise that there are folks out there that are stupid as in needing-to-be-told-that-a-packet-of-peanuts-may-contain-nuts-stupid. Accept that if you dropped a box labelled "do not open - contains crotch eating crickets!" in the middle of a busy city center that within seconds there would be cries of agony and the sounds of happy chirruping.
Then consider children, a more myopic and less experienced version of the above. We're talking the sort of child that eats 'delicious wall candy', known to the rest of us as 'paint'. You feed them a bag of these entirely unwise snacks and they will identify 'small knobbly bricks' as delicious snack food. Before you can say 'emergency tracheostomy' it's time to visit the fun time palace known as the Casualty Ward.
Unfortunately the bearded maniac on the youtube video was such a smug and self-satisfied nerdlinger that I could only bear to watch for 60 seconds.
Oddly these have been around (or at least reported on) since 2007, and have no entry on Snopes that I could find. Surely these cannot be real.
Surely?

CONGRATULATIONS - you just WON The Game FOREVER. Or you can carry on being a humourless nugget - your call.

I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

this is for allergy reasons, people can be allergic to nuts and not get sick from peanuts.Funky Weasel wrote:needing-to-be-told-that-a-packet-of-peanuts-may-contain-nuts-stupid.
also on the topic of eating not quite edible things, I don't suppose eating a length of galvanized wire counts, does it? it didn't leave me with bad effects anyway.
Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

i use my mouth as storage for bricks when i my hands are full/rummaging, when your rummaging though your box of bricks the table by your side is too far, your hands are full, so put in between your teeth.
oh and I've always preferd the taste of yellow bricks.
